Gerund

1,Reporting verbs + (not) v - ing :

⇒ deny, admit, suggest,

regret,appreciate + (not) v - ing…

Ex: Peter said,“I didn’t steal the painting.”

⇒ Peter denied stealing the painting.

Ex: “Let’s not talk about that problem

again.”

=> He suggested not talking about that

problem again.
