ADJECTIVES AND ADVERBS
Not change the meaning
- quick – quickly
Adv = Adj + ly
Ex: fluent – fluently, complete – completely, wasteful – wastefully
Notes:
- Adj_y => Adj_i + ly: happy => happily
- Adj_ll => Adj_ll + y: full => fully
- Adj = Adv: fast, late, early
- Adj_ly: early, lovely, lively
- good (adj) => well (adv)
Activity 1 Change the adjectives into adverbs Then use the adverbs to complete the sentences
