I Aims and objectives :

+ Language Content :

- To introduce the s.s some information about Hoa so that they can know more about the s.s’life in a new school far from home

- To enable the s.s to review comparative sentences

+Language Function :

- To help the s.s understand the content of the lesson and tell them about their new friends +Educational Aim :

-To make the s.s aware of the importance of the friendship, especially when they live far from home

1. Language :

+ Vocabulary : revision

+ Structures : comparative sentence

2 Skills : integrated skills

3 Educational factor :- After learning this, they will be able to help their newcomers

II Teacher’s and students’ preparation :

1 Method : Communicative Approach

2 Techniques : Repetition, using pictures, real objects, pairwork, games, discussion.

4 Materials needed :Textbook, pictures, colored chalks

5 Students’ preparation: Do all the h.w; reread about comparatives; be ready tostudy

6 Previous exercises: - Learn by heart the dialogue, new words; create a new dialogue

themselves

III PROCEDURES IN CLASS :

S2: What’s the new girl’s name?
