BAND FOR HAT
With Green yarn:
Chain 6, sc in each ch, ch 1, turn
Sc in each sc, ch 1, turn
Repeat the above row until you have a long enough piece to go all the way around the hat
Sew the band onto the hat using an overcast stitch and Green yarn
Make a pompom for the hat by winding the Wool-Ease White yarn around
a 3” piece of cardboard or coaster 40 times
Slip the yarn off the cardboard and tie a double strand of the yarn around the center Tie tightly
Cut the loops, give it a shake and then cut most of the yarn off, trimming until you have a nice tight one inch ball Sew this to the tip of the hat
Trang 1414 Stitch the tip of the hat down on to itself as shown and put his hat on him
I think we are all done Hope you had fun
