DESCRIBE A TIME YOU TAUGHT SOMETHING NEW TO A YOUNGER PERSON

When I received this topic, what immediately came to mind was a time when I showed my little brother how to use Photoshop for the first time

If memory serves, it was about 3 years back when I was fresh out of college At the time, my brother was still a freshman at college, and he was doing a course in design As part of the requirement of his course, he had to design a poster, but using design software was not his

strong suit, so he turned to me for help As I mentioned before, I was a fresh grad back then

so I got a lot of free time on my hands, so I decided to give him a hand with his assignment

Truth be told, my bro didn’t know the first thing about design, so I had to teach him the basics first, such as sharpening photos, adjusting colors, changing exposure, you name it And on top

of this, he wasn’t a faster learner either, and PTS wasn’t exactly user-friendly, so it took some getting used to After a while, he started to get the hang of it

Then I moved on to show him how to use more advanced tools In particular, I showed my brother different ways to touch up photos of a female model, like removing blemishes, smoothing skin and reducing wrinkles

As I was helping him, I almost lost my temper a few times because you know, being patient is not my forte, but fortunately I didn’t get mad haha In the end it felt pretty awesome ‘cuz I was able to help my brother pass with a pretty decent grade although he was a novice at using graphic design software

When I received this topic, what immediately came to mind was a time when I was on my way to the British Council to sit my IELTS exam

If memory serves, it was about a year back when I was still a junior in college At the time

I needed a decent IELTS score to graduate But my parents were both working to make ends meet, so I had to get to school and other places on my own by bike

Anyway, that morning as I was on my way to the BC, all of a sudden my bike just shut off, so

my motorcycle to his home while my best friend gave me a ride to the BC I was super relieved

that I showed up just in time for the exam

Thinking back, I was really glad that my best friend was there for me If he hadn’t helped out,
