Spring 1998

An Australian man, only identified by the name of Joe "X", has designed a remarkable water

Energy Cell that only utilizes water for a "fuel" and develops substantially more power than

gasoline It was originally designed for use in cars, but it can be used with almost any engine that

normally runs on gasoline such as motorcycles, outboard marine engines, lawn mowers, portable

electric generators, etc The Energy Cell alone provides all the power that the engine needs After an

Energy Cell is installed and functioning properly, the gasoline fuel lines can be completely disconnected.

An engine that operates on Joe's Energy Cell produces no exhaust by-products and no heat Without

any exhaust by-products, you eliminate the need for pollution control devices Since the engine runs cold, there is no need for a cooling system per se, however, the water in the water jacket surrounding the cylinders may be playing a pivotal role in allowing this phenomena to take place.

Surprisingly, the Energy Cell does not deplete its water while in operation The water is acting in

the role of a catalyst in the transference of a special form of energy from the surrounding

atmosphere into the engine and the water itself is not consumed in the process.

From all outward appearances, an engine operating with this cell seems to be functioning on the

Implosion principle, a phenomena explored in the writings and patents of inventors Viktor Schauberger, John Keeley, and others.

The following characteristics have been observed with the phenomena of Implosion:

1 The energy is manifested as a suction force, not an explosion force.

2 In the presence of implosion, the ambient temperature declines, rather than expands, to what

is called the Point of Anomaly For water, the Point of Anomaly is 4 degrees Celsius.

3 There is an absence of resistance and friction.

4 Given adequate velocity of the catalyst medium (Water or Air), gravity is canceled and the

engine or implosive energy producing device will levitate.

5 The power plant can produce enough energy to sustain itself and can operate continuously.

6 There are no exhaust by-products.

7 Diamagnetic materials are required for implosion Diamagnetic materials exhibit properties

that are opposite that of magnetic materials For example, a magnetic material will align

in parallel to the magnetic lines of force from a magnetic field, while a diamagnetic metal (E.g copper) will align at right angles to the magnetic lines of force.

The Joe Energy Cell incorporates common materials that are easily obtained They include stainless

steel, rubber, and water (see Materials) Practically anyone, who is careful and pays very close

attention to construction and 'alignment' details, can build this cell.

Trang 2

Joe's experiments with various prototypes of his Energy Cell were recorded on amateur videos recorded in Australia from 1993-1997 These videos include more than 2 hours of commentary from Joe recorded during a "Joe Symposium Workshop" held in Melbourne in 1997 The videos total about 5 hours and fifteen minutes and are divided into two cassettes.

Tape 1 begins with footage shot in 1993 with Joe demonstrating his earlier cell designs and explaining the phenomena as he understood it at the time The tape then progresses into the 1994-95 period where Joe demonstrates his evolving cell prototypes in the shop and on the road with vehicles which have been fitted with the energy cell As part of the 1997 Melbourne "Joe Symposium", Joe visits the workshop of local experimenters who couldn't get their Energy Cell to function correctly and explains to them how to rectify common construction mistakes and avoid errors.

Tape 2 continues the shop discussion with the local experimenters and then leads into amateur footage of other individuals, including Les Banki, who have made their own unique energy cell designs, mostly based on hydrogen fuel cells The last section of Tape 2 includes a roundup talk on

free energy devices presented by Ian Hacon at an Australian Free Energy symposium on April 7,

1997.

A book entitled The Joe Phenomenon by Barry Hilton, a well known researcher and author on free

energy devices, was obtained with the tapes It details construction notes and observations about Joe's Water Energy Cell In the book, Barry explains that after seeing Joe's 1993-95 videos, he put together a paper on the Water Energy Cell and presented it at an Australian conference on free energy in 1996 Before the conference, Barry had attempted to contact Joe, but failed to locate him.

After the conference had finished, however, Joe managed to contact Barry.

Joe told Barry that that he had seen a copy of his conference paper and wanted to point out some errors in Barry's assumptions concerning how and why the cell worked Delighted with the offer, arrangements were made (and subsidized by Ian Hacon) for Joe to visit Barry in Melbourne and conduct the above mentioned workshop The clarifications and insights gained during this visit made all the difference for Barry who was now able to more clearly delineate the construction and alignment parameters of Joe's extraordinary cell As a result, Barry's book has helped to illuminate many important considerations about the Joe Cell construction that are sometimes difficult to

identify from the videos, unless you pay very close attention to what is being said on the tapes.

In 1999, a Joe Cell builder by the name of Alex Schiffer came out with a brilliant and well

researched lab journal titled the Experimenter's Guide to The Joe Cell Alex's book picks up where

Barry's leaves off and carries the Joe Cell story much further Alex thoroughly explores the properties of orgone, the charged water, the capacitor effect, variation in cell designs, materials, alignments, specifications, seed diameter to height ratio, electrolysis, rotating fields, polarity, the

"Y" factor, connections to the engine, and many other phenomena associated with the cell-including

the emotional attitude of the builder The Experimenter's Guide presents the clearest explanation of

the Joe Cell phenomena that I've seen to date.

Joe, the inventor, has not attempted to financially capitalize on his astounding discovery, but rather

had decided to freely give away the information on how to construct his incredible Energy Cell for

public benefit In response to this monumental, magnanimous and altruistic gift, Joe has been the victim of threats and harassment to pressure him into stop talking The intimidation has succeeded and today Joe no longer demonstrates or talks about his Energy Cell It doesn't take a lot of imagination to figure out who is behind the harassment.

Trang 3

The Joe Energy Cell videos and Barry's booklet were brought to my attention by my generous friend Milan I want to express my thanks to Milan; to Barry Hilton for his splendid booklet; to Alex Schiffer for his excellent guide; and to Ian Hacon for helping to bring the Joe Cell story to the world Our greatest gratitude, of course, goes to Joe "X" himself for making this divinely inspired invention freely available.

Thanks very much Joe You have done a remarkable thing and we are all in your debt.

Theory of the Water Energy Cell

Introduction

The first thing to realize when attempting to understand the nature of Joe's Energy Cell is that

many of the precepts and rules of conventional science do not apply This cell does not operate

according to the conventional rules of physics It's necessary to approach this material with an open

mind and to be prepared to entertain novel ideas that often run contrary to conventional scientific

thought Essentially, Joe had discovered a unique and simple way to capture Orgone energy

(explained later in this article) The Joe Energy Cell is NOT a hydrogen fuel cell It's an Orgone

Energy Accumulator in which water is acting as the medium which captures the orgone and allows it

to be transduced into the engine.

Skepticism

Some people react with immediate disbelief when first confronted with information about the Joe Cell Such individuals find skepticism a comfortable refuge It's easy to be a skeptic There are always those with flaccid minds who delude themselves onto thinking that scoffing at new ideas or theories that run counter to conventional wisdom is an affirmation of intellectual maturity and sophistication, but these individuals are too often intellectually lazy, hopelessly self satisfied and arrogant.

Almost without exception, a skeptic jumps to the simplistic conclusion that if he hasn't heard about

it or if the new information opposes ideas which he has been taught in school, then the concept

being offered must be invalid! Of course, a skeptic will never actually build the cell and determine through observation whether the cell functions as described Skeptical sermons are usually delivered

from the ease of an arm chair.

Rigidly obedient to established dogma, skeptics routinely dismiss new or revolutionary concepts out

of hand The refusal to examine empirical evidence offered by hands-on experimentation is seen most often in skeptical professionals of the academic persuasion Most physics professors are solidly married to their ego and 'woe be' to anyone who attempts to question their consecrated, anointed opinions of the universe.

My advice is not to waste your time trying to convince skeptics or knuckle heads married to

conventional science why the Energy Cell works They will only attempt to discourage you Just build one and see for yourself It's not really important to understand why it works The point is- it

works!

Trang 4

Is it a Water Fuel Cell ?

No This design does not attempt to "crack" the water molecule with high voltage or by any other

means Water is not consumed in the Joe Energy Cell as it is with a Water Fuel Cell.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell ?

No This was my initial thinking when I first heard about Joe's cell, but Joe's Energy Cell taps into a

much greater energy source It's called Orgone energy, a term coined by Wilhelm Reich Joe's Cell,

however, can produce hydrogen gas and could be used as a hydrogen fuel cell if certain

"alignments" are made.

The Orgone energy is pulled out of the surrounding atmospheric fluroplasmic environment or

Ether.

Orthodox scientists have been strenuously denying the existence of the ether (also spelled aether,

or aeither) for the better part of the 20th century Important 19th and early 20th century scientists including Nikola Tesla, Lord Kelvin, James Clerk Maxwell, and Baron Carl Von Reichenbach

all adhered to a firm belief in the existence of the ether, but were shouted down by supporters of

Einstein's theories after the turn of the century It's not a coincidence that the debunking of the ether

theory was being promoted at the same time that the John D Rockefeller and J P Morgan energy

empires were rising in the opening decades of this century

(Today, it is clear why the ether theory was so vigorously and thoroughly debunked by

academicians in the first half of this century They were getting their marching orders from the

hidden hand of the Illuminati, which included the above mentioned Rockefeller and Morgan

families The Illuminati had infiltrated the highest ranks of academia in the United States in the opening decades of the current century through the efforts of Fabian Socialists The suppression of information concerning ether-born energies continues to this very day).

Three Gases

Joe's cell is capable of producing three different types of "gas", depending on the "alignment"

(Joe's term) of the cell Joe can change the cell's alignment in a number of ways.

Some alignment changes include:

1) reversing the polarity of the battery's connections;

2) changing the location of the battery connections to different plates;

3) raising or lowering the plate assembly within the charging vat, or

4) using different sources of water Other possibilities exist as well.

Trang 5

In the videos, Joe activates the Energy Cell by applying 12 DC voltage from a car battery Bubbles quickly begin to come off the Energy Cell's plates within 30 seconds.

A Brown Scum or sludge begins to form on the top of the water to which some of the bubbles

adhere and coalesce into larger bubbles.

Joe then demonstrates the explosive effect of the gas produced by lighting a match to the bubbles adhering to the brown scum floating on top of the water cell.

Each different type of gas produced demonstrates a different reaction when ignited with a match.

A description of the gases follows:

1 Hydrogen gas comes off the cell as very small bubbles and will produce a yellow flame when lit

by a match Igniting the hydrogen bubbles with a match will produce a moderate crack or snap, similar to the sound of a cap gun.

2 After adjusting the alignment, Joe produces a second type of gas (name unknown Some have

speculated that it's Brown's Gas, but I'm not sure ) Holding a match to this gas will produce

a louder report (sound); a sharp crack, but without the yellow flame or ringing in the ears.

3 The third type of gas (again, name unknown) produces the largest energetic discharge of all.

When Joe puts a match to this gas, he get a much louder report with heavy ringing in the ears This third type of gas is the gas that Joe uses to power the car's engine Here we have a 'gas' that has

somehow captured a significant amount of Orgone Energy which is expendable within the confines

of the engine.

An unconventional property of the second and third type of gas is that when detonated by a match,

the resulting discharge of energy causes the eardrums to push outwards, away from the body This

means that the gas is imploding and not exploding (which would have forced the eardrums inward).

This is an important and significant point to consider In conventional physics, we are accustomed to

thinking in terms of energy release as an explosion, an outward expansion of energy and heat into space (an exothermic reaction) Here we have an implosion (an endothermic reaction) in which

there is a rapid condensation of energy which lowers the ambient temperature This is precisely what

Viktor Shauberger, the Austrian forester, inventor, and Nature observer discovered when he

spiraled water into a whirlpool like vortex The temperature of the water would decrease.

Barry Hilton speculates in his book that the third type of gas is possibly a unique form of hydrogen, heavily laden with expendable orgone energy, that is able to pass through and saturate the atoms

of the engine's metal Alex Schiffer feels that the orgone from the Joe cell is transferred to the intake manifold by the cell , but is picked up or absorbed by the air rushing in through from the carburetor

and carried into the cylinders Alex also speculates that the water in the water jacket (of the engine)

surrounding the cylinders plays a significant part in picking up the orgone energy

It's pure speculation, of course, but both Barry's and Alex's ideas do fit the observable facts For example, engines made completely of aluminum will adapt to the Joe cell within a couple of hours, while an all cast iron engine can take a week or more to acclimate to the cell Since aluminum is lighter and more "porous", the orgone/hydrogen 'gas' is probably penetrating and saturating this metal more quickly than the denser cast iron As to Alex's water jacket idea, water is one of the four ancient 'elements' to which the ether is bound (water, air, earth, and fire), so his proposition seems logical as well.

Trang 6

Another observable fact also lends support to the above theory.

The outlet from the Car Cell is connected to a blind fitting or blank plug on the carburetor housing.

This means that there is no opening through this fitting into the interior of the carburetor or the

interior of the intake manifold Yes, you are reading that statement correctly There is NO physical

opening between the output of the Energy Cell and the interior of the engine Yet the cell works!

Logic dictates that the gas must be passing THROUGH the metal of the carb housing to reach the interior of the engine Since hydrogen is the lightest element of all (with only one proton), it doesn't seem too far fetched to assume that this might be occurring Wilhelm Reich also noted that orgone is

not hindered by metal barriers, but is first attracted to and then repelled by metal surfaces.

Orgone Energy

Wilhelm Reich, a titan among 20th century scientists, discovered orgone energy in the late 1930's

as an outgrowth of his study of the psychic and physiological functions of the sexual orgasm of which he first published studies in 1923 His numerous experiments led him to a microscopic observation of decaying plant and animal cells He noticed that the cells of decaying grass or moss,

suspended in water, would gradually break down and reform into very small energy vesicles (only

seen at 2,000x and higher magnifications) which he termed bions These bions gave off an intense

blue light and eventually would congregate into bion heaps, which-incredibly-later transformed

themselves into living protozoa, such as amoebae or paramecium!!

(This discovery alone should have earned Reich the Nobel Prize, but instead, the government threw him into federal prison on a trumped up charge and he conveniently died of a 'heart attack' in 1957 after serving less than one year of a two year sentence.)

Reich found that he could obtain much larger quantities of bion vesicles by first heating the organic (e.g blood) or inorganic substance (E.g ocean sand) to a very high temperature and then causing the heated substance to be swollen by immersion it in a specialized liquid medium This procedure

allowed copious quantities of bions to be 'released' from these substances which were now available

to reform into new living organisms.

By persistent observation, Reich realized that it was Orgone energy which accounted for the blue

lumination and the biogenensis activity of the bions He discovered that orgone energy is

permeated not only within all living substances, but it is also found in non living substances (E.g.

sand, coal, and soil ) and is ubiquitously present in the atmosphere The sun being the major

'supplier' of orgone energy.

Reich's discovery of orgone energy is laid out in two books first published in German, but later

translated into English: "The Function of the Orgasm" and "The Cancer Biopathy" available from

http://orgone.org , a web site hosted by James DeMeo dedicated to disseminating information about this giant among men.

Joe Cell Construction

Two Types of Energy Cells: Acid and Alkaline

Alex Schiffer indicates that you can make the Joe Cell as either an Acid Cell or an Alkaline Cell.

He says that a lot of people can't get their cell to work because they have mixed materials from both

types of cells In his Experimenter's Guide to The Joe Cell, Alex lists which properties and materials

match the acid or the alkaline cell Alex prefers to only build acid cells The glass test cell described here is based on Alex's notes for an acid cell .

Early Prototypes

The videos cover many of Joe's early cell prototypes from 1991 onward Rather than spend the time here describing earlier flawed designs, I feel it's more productive to concentrate on Joe's most recent and successful Joe Cell configurations Interested investigators can review Joe's earlier

prototypes both on the videos and in Barry's book, The Joe Phenomenon.

Joe discovered that constructing two different Energy Cells produced the best results A smaller

Energy Cell is used in the car itself and another larger cell (located in his shop) is used for

charging the water

The following is a general description of the smaller energy cell and larger energy cell which we

shall refer to as the Car Cell, and the Charging Vat respectively, but bear in mind that they are

both Joe Cells working on the same principle One is simply larger and the other smaller To get a

better understanding of how the Joe Cell works, Alex Schiffer suggests that one should first build a

glass test cell and gain some experience Then, you can build the charging vat and car cell with

greater confidence and fewer mistakes We'll describe all three starting with the car cell.

The Car Cell

The Joe Cell that is placed in the car is much smaller than the Charging Vat The dimensions are not critical, but a Car Cell container of four to five inches inside diameter for stainless steel is sufficient

(six inch diameter for a glass or plastic container ) Larger diameters are possible, but probably unnecessary The container itself can be made of stainless steel (S/S) glass, or clear acrylic plastic, but we'll concentrate on describing the stainless steel container since the strength and rigidity of this material offers practical advantages for car use.

Checking for Magnetism

Every piece of stainless steel (including nuts and washers) that is used in this cell must have as little

magnetic attraction as possible by checking with a neodymium, rare earth magnet (Radio Shack:

Rare Earth Magnet ,Cat # 64-1895) This magnet is no larger than a pea, but it will serve our purpose Use Super Glue to attach 12" of strong thread or thin fishing line to the magnet Take the

magnet with you when you go hunting for your food grade stainless steel (type 316L is most

common) Select stainless steel in which the magnetic attraction is so low that it will not support the weight of the magnet itself Next, swing or hold the magnet on the string right next to the steel and notice how much of an attractive deflection occurs Pick stainless with the lowest level of attraction

(there will usually be some attraction).

Trang 8

Making the Plate Assembly

The S/S container is also referred to as the Anode or anode container (the positive terminal of the

car's battery is connected to the anode) The Car Cell uses either 3 or 4 stainless steel cylinders

(pipes) which Joe refers to as plates of approximately 1'', 2" , 3", and 4" diameter respectively that

are placed concentrically, one inside the other and placed within the anode (housing) container These S/S pipes are insulated from each another by a "Y" arrangement of three rubber insulators

(Alex Schiffer uses Ebonite or Teflon) that are separated at 120 degree intervals around the pipe and are fitted at the bottom and top between adjacent pipes of the pipe assembly These rubber spacers

act both as an insulator between the plates and a mechanical means of holding the plate/pipe

assembly together (a friction/pressure fit) It's important that the tops of the pipes are perfectly even

(level) with each other If one pipe is slightly higher or lower than its neighbor, the cell won't work correctly.

Keep it Clean

After obtaining your stainless steel and cutting everything to the correct size, all S/S must be thoroughly cleaned with acetic acid (vinegar) mixed with juvenile water before assembly Always work with clean hands Use no other cleaner on the stainless steel except acetic acid and juvenile water Polish the stainless before cleaning it Don't use commercial abrasives Keeping everything clean is an absolute requirement for the cell to work.

The Stainless Steel Bolt

The Car Cell has a S/S bolt that is press driven into the bottom of the center 1" pipe You want to

find a stainless steel bolt (check for magnetism) with a hexagonal head that will give you a tight force- fit into the one inch pipe (use a stainless steel (316L if possible) one half inch bolt of 3-4 inch

length) The bolt and the 1" pipe together constitute the Cathode of the Car Cell to which the

negative terminal of the battery will connect via the chassis of the car The Car Cell container has a hole drilled in the bottom which allows the bolt connected to the 1 " pipe to pass through it This

hole is fitted with a large rubber grommet (or another type of insulator such as a stepped teflon

washer) in order to prevent the metal of the bolt from touching the metal of the Energy Cell

container S/S nuts are secured on the inside and the outside of the bolt to firmly hold it in place The nuts are also touching the flanges of the large rubber or teflon grommet through which the bolt passes in order to prevent the nut from making a metal to metal contact with the anode container The portion of the bolt protruding from the bottom of the container is then bolted to the

chassis of the car A rubber pad must be placed between the bottom of the positive anode container

and the negative car chassis in order to prevent metal to metal contact.

The length of the S/S pipe assembly within the Car Cell container is dependent upon the total

number of cylinders used for plates Alex Schiffer found that the length of the pipe assembly could

be optimized by matching it to the "seed diameter" of the cell Alex includes a complete table in his

Guide, but a handy rule of thumb is to use 7" long cylinders (pipes) for a 3 plate Car Cell and 8"

long cylinders for a 4 plate Car Cell (the anode container should be about 2 inches longer than the interior cylinder plates) It's important that the length of each cylinder be approximately the same, regardless of the design length chosen The 2", 3" and 4" plates (pipes) are left electrically

unconnected to the battery or to other plates, but they play a critical function in the operation of the

Energy Cell Joe calls them Neutral Plates Remember, the negative side of the battery is connected

to the center one inch pipe via the S/S bolt (cathode) which is connected to the chassis of the car.

The positive terminal of the battery will be connected to the Car Cell stainless steel anode container via the one inch aluminum tubing will be attached to the cone top of the Car Cell.

Trang 9

The Anode Container

The plate assembly is placed within the S/S anode container The plates are held suspended off the bottom of the container by the S/S bolt passing up through the hole that was drilled in the bottom of the container The anode container needs to be capped with a cone shaped top.

You can use either stainless steel or aluminum for this purpose Off-the-shelf reducers in S/S or aluminum work fine ( a 5" to 1" or a 6" to 1" reducer will fit the bill) The cone angle must be at least 45 degrees, but 52 or 54 degrees, according to Alex Schiffer, works better.

You weld a 1" compression angle fitting to the reducer's 1" hole at the top in order to receive the 1" aluminum tubing that will carry the orgone to the engine manifold The one inch aluminum tubing should be polished on the inside since orgone behaves like an optical wave Ideally, you want the aluminum tubing angle rising until it reaches the carb connection, but horizontal runs of the tubing

are OK Don't, however, direct the tubing downwards Orgone wants to rise, it does not want to go

downhill.

The end of the aluminum tubing is not connected directly to the engine Rather, a 4 inch length of rubber or neoprene tubing is used to connect the blind nipple on the carb to the end of the aluminum

tubing You connect the 12 volt positive wire from the ignition (after the key switch) to the

aluminum tubing and fasten it with an airplane clamp Remember that the aluminum tubing is electrically connected to the anode container and everything is at + 12 volts potential, so don't allow

it to touch any part of the engine or chassis (otherwise, you'll short out the battery) Put a 5 amp fuse

in line with the positive ignition wire connected to the aluminum tubing and insulate the aluminum tubing with either a plastic sleeve or wrapping (electrician's tape).

Charged Water

To get the car cell to work, "charged" water obtained from the Charging Vat (or a test cell) is poured into the Car Cell ( it's simpler and easier than than attempting to charge the water using the Car Cell

itself) Since charged water (necessary for the functioning of the cell) is being added to the Car Cell,

it is not necessary to produce it with the Car Cell If the Car Cell is properly prepared and

acclimated, the cell will begin to "breed" when charged water is added and electricity from the battery is applied to the cell Alex found that a current flow of 1 amp from the 12 volt car battery creates the ideal electrolysis conditions for a Joe cell to work Producing the charged water first,

filtering it (coffee filter), and adding it to the Car Cell, prevents a lot of potential problems Follow

this hard earned advice.

The Water

The water you will need to produce the charged water is of enormous importance Viktor Schauberger appropriately described water as a "living" substance It can possess many types of different energy states that are not apparent to the eye The sort of water that comes out of your kitchen faucet, or from bottled water, or even distilled water, for this purpose, is essentially 'dead'

water Alex Schiffer recommends obtaining what he calls "juvenile water" from a natural

mountain spring source Schauberger always said that water wasn't 'ready' to be utilized by living

things until it was properly 'nurtured' within the earth When ready, this water would naturally rise

up to forested mountain areas and gush forth, naturally, as a spring.

Trang 10

And this is where you want to try and get your Joe Cell water: from a natural spring source before

man has a chance to pollute it downstream or run it through pipes (which kills the life-giving natural energies) Lacking availability of a spring source, the next best thing is to treat the water in such a way as to restore some of its life enhancing properties One method is to spin the water in a vortex and capture orgone from the surrounding atmosphere through implosion A second technique is to add substances to the water which will enhance its energy (more info will be added here to explain how to treat).

The Acclimated & Breeding Cell

A properly acclimated and breeding cell will produce a small electrical potential of its own even when it is no longer connected to a battery source Since the cell is an orgone accumulator, it accumulates orgone! After a certain saturation point is reached, the excess orgone energy must go

somewhere, so it converts to electricity and this accounts for the small electric potential

produced across the cell This cell generated potential, however, will not maintain itself indefinitely and it eventually will wind down to zero unless a periodic "boost" of electricity is applied to the cell.

Alex noted that a one minute application of 12 volts battery power every day will keep the cell

breeding and ready for work The Car Cell is capable of maintaining this state of production

readiness as long as the cell is not discharged (explained below).

Beyond containing the charged water, remember that the container acts as the anode for the Joe Cell.

With battery potential applied, the charged water within the cell will 'breed' and create a field effect

in which an electric potential of approximately 1.5 volts is maintained between the Anode container and the Cathode bolt protruding from the bottom of the cell.

The Field Effect

Joe attempts to explain the "field" effect that is taking place within the cell and between the plates

on both tapes 1 and 2, however, since tape 1 starts with video shot in 1993 and '95 and tape 2 includes video mostly recorded in 1997, Joe's understanding (and explanation) of the phenomena is

better understood in the 1997 video Alex Schiffer explains the 'field effect' with even greater

insight in his book, the Experimenter's Guide; well worth reading.

Since the charged water is not consumed in the process of producing the third type of gas, the

charged water is acting as a catalyst, which by definition is a substance that facilitates a reaction,

but is not consumed by the reaction By placing pre charged water in the smaller car unit, you side

step the problem of contamination of the car cell with the Brown Scum sediment which can coat the plates and rubber insulators in the event of a cell discharge.

The Charging Vat

The larger Charging Vat can be located in a shop, garage, or patio for example Joe uses a big

stainless steel beer keg with the top cut off Remember, the stainless steel beer keg functions as both

container and anode for the cell The size and shape of the plate assembly within the Charging Vat

is different than the smaller Car Cell The plates are of a larger diameter and are in the shape of a

truncated cone There are 9 plates used in Joe's Charging Vat versus the 3 or 4 plates used in the Car Cell Joe found that 10 inch S/S milk separator cones (from milk processing equipment) work

well for these plates However, different shapes of stainless steel plates can work just as well if they

are sufficiently free of magnetism Stainless steel classified as "food grade" or "317L" has produced

good results for Joe Alex Schiffer feels that it's not necessary to use a large beer keg for the

charging vat A small S/S beer keg or even a test cell will produce a sufficient amount of charged water needed by one person.

Trang 11

The Number of Neutral Plates

Joe often mentions in the tapes that an energy cell with a larger number of neutral plates will

produce a larger volume of "gas" and will draw much less current from the battery You don't have

to limit the Car Energy Cell to just 3 plates, but since this cell isn't producing the charged water and isn't hooked up to the car battery, 3 plates are adequate However, Alex Schiffer mentions that an additional plate will result in a less "leaky" cell and accumulate orgone more efficiently Since a 5" anode container will accommodate a 4" pipe, it's probably advantageous to build a 4 plate cell.

Cell Discharge

Joe found that if the cell accidentally discharged before the Brown Scum could be removed from the top of the cell , it would be necessary to totally disassemble and clean the cell before it could

properly function again This required a lot of work Joe learned through bitter experience to take

care and avoid discharging the cell You need to avoid making this costly and time consuming

mistake yourself The Energy Cell can be discharged by:

1 Failing to quickly remove the Brown Scum as it is being formed in the Charging Vat.

2 Accidentally shorting out the anode and the cathode plates or the neutral plates to each

other.

3 Inserting your fingers or hand into the 'charge water'

4 Allowing strong electrical or magnetic fields to penetrate the immediate vicinity of the

Energy Cell

5 Allowing individuals with highly negative emotions or personality or character to get too

close to the cell (I know this sounds crazy, but it's true) Wilhelm Reich described this effect

on orgone energy as the "Y" factor ("Y" standing for "you").

Charged Water Transfer

After the Charging Vat is activated by applying battery power to the anode and cathode (about 30-60

seconds) and removing the Brown Scum, the Charged Water can be picked up using a glass beaker

in which the fingers are not allowed to touch the water within the beaker or touch the cell water

outside of the beaker It's not really that hard to do You take a 500 ml or 750 ml glass (or Pyrex)

beaker and you hold it by hooking your index finger or middle inside the beaker Dip the part of the beaker opposite your hand into the water and scoop up a reasonable amount of charged water Dump

it into another large beaker of a large glass jar Keep it up until you have about a quart or so of charged water You then transfer the Charged Water from the Charging Vat into the Car Cell (just pour it in).

Car Cell Location

This Cell can stop breeding if it is exposed to high magnetic/electrical fields Joe has located the cell within the engine compartment on some small cars, but usually bolts the cell to the foot well on the passenger side or puts it in the trunk ("boot" for our Aussie readers) You place a thick sheet of rubber insulation between the bottom of the cell and the car chassis Note: the bolt that goes through

the bottom of the cell and connects to the center pipe (plate) within the cell is insulated from the cell

container by a rubber grommet You want the bolt firmly connected to the chassis because the bolt

represents the negative cathode (and the chassis is negative) You don't want the cell container to

touch the chassis because it represents the positive anode and touching the chassis would short out

the cell

Trang 12

Acclimating the Engine to the Joe Cell

An all aluminum engine can acclimate in a few hours while a cast iron engine may take 1-4 weeks to adjust to the Energy Cell Joe begins by installing the car cell and then adds the charged water He leaves the gas lines intact and runs the car until he notices an increase in the idle rate and/or the engine starts running more roughly This indicates to him that the cell is beginning to take over and requires the timing to be slightly advanced until the engine runs smooth again He continues to adjust the timing as the engine acclimates to the cell Eventually, Joe found that he could disconnect the fuel lines completely and run the car exclusively with the Car Cell.

The Test Cell

It wiser to begin experimentation by first building a Test Cell using a glass container Besides ease

of construction, you can view the action of the cell from above, sideways, and below You can have

a glass company cut off the top of a large, restaurant size glass pickle jar or find a very large mouth one gallon glass container used for lemonade and that sort of thing.

We want to place five S/S cylinders of equal length in our Test Cell The diameters of the S/S pipes

are 1", 2", 3", 4", and 5" respectively Make sure you obtain S/S pipes which exhibit very little or

almost no magnetic attraction to a neodymium magnet (this is extremely important) The pipes are

held together in an assembly by using the rubber (or other) insulators spaced out at 120 degree intervals at the top and bottom of adjacent pipes (there are three rubber insulators between the 1" and 2" pipes at the top and at the bottom; same between the 2" and 3" pipes, same between the 3"

and 4" pipes, and finally same between the 4" and 5" pipes; a total of eight sets of three insulators each) Set the insulators in about one quarter inch from the ends of the pipes Be careful that the tops

of all five pipes are on the same level and are even with each other Set he pipe assembly down into the glass container sitting on top of glass/acrylic standoff strips or sitting on a few rubber insulators spread out on the bottom of the jar.

It's not necessary to drill a hole through the bottom of the glass jar like the Car Cell (although you could if you want to), since we can attach alligator clips from wires connected to the battery directly onto the S/S pipes that we will use as the anode and cathode It's necessary to connect your negative

battery wire to the bottom of the center S/S 1' cylinder pipe and connect the positive battery wire to the top of the 5" cylinder using an alligator clip To connect to the bottom of the one inch center

cathode pipe, it's a good idea to use stainless steel strapping that is pop-rivited with a stainless steel rivet or tap-screwed with a stainlees steel screw (check for magnetism) You can use S/S strapping sized from one quarter inch up to one inch It's not critical Checking for non-magnetism IS critical You can arrange the S/S strapping to snake between the standoffs in the bottom of the cell and rise

up through the water running along the outside perimeter of the S/S cylinders to emerge through the top of the water You attach your negative battery alligator clip to this S/S cathode strap.

UK Engineer Urges Joe Cell 'Warning' or "better

still remove it altogether"

Editor's Note: I wrote an article a few years ago describing the amazing action of a simple

invention called the "Joe Cell" which included only three different materials:

A) a stainless steel or plastic container which contained approximately one quart of water,

B) four or five stainless steel cylinders (6-8 inches long) which are nested one within the other, and C) small rubber spacers to isolate the steel cylinders and hold them together That's it!

When properly assembled (and paying very close attention to the absence of magnetism of the stainless steel, to the 'quality' of the water used, and the specific type of rubber used for the spacers) and made to "seed" by the TEMPORARY and short term application of 12 volts DC from a car battery, this cell is capable of 'breeding' orgone energy captured from the surrounding Ether "Joe", the inventor of this cell, channeled the output of the cell into the carburetor of an older model car that used a (pre-computer era) distributor with ignition points and an ignition coil (Tesla coil) and was able to get the car to run on a form of energy dispersal called "implosion".

After the engine had sufficient time to 'acclimate' to this new type of "fuel", Joe was able to disconnect the gasoline feed line entirely and run the car exclusively on the orgone energy being produced by the Joe Cell.

Implosion energy, discussed at great length in the writings of Viktor Schauberger, operates in a manner that is opposite-in all regards- to the usual 'explosive' form of energy expansion that we are familiar with.

Orgone energy is real and implosion is real Wilhelm Reich wrote two books and many papers about orgone energy in the 1930's and 1940's Trevor James Constable tried to re-awaken interest in Reich's incredible discoveries in his 1975 book, The Cosmic Pulse of Life Trevor referred to Reich's work as the "new knowledge" Today, it's more commonly called "ether physics."

Unfortunately, we are still straddled with an educational system-worldwide- that DENIES the reality

of the Ether or of ether physics Since the evidence of ether physics is almost always OPPOSITE of that which is observed with conventional physics, graduates of an orthodox education in physics will usually deny (or scoff at) evidence that is plainly visible and instead, steadfastly cling to inculcated dogma Perhaps you may recall the story of the high church officials who refused to peer into Galileo's telescope because "everyone knew" that the earth was at the center of the solar system Are things much different today? A SAFETY RECOMENDATION, RE "JOES CELL"

Please Be Aware innocent enthusiasts could BLOW THEMSELVES UP

A SAFETY RECOMENDATION, RE "JOES CELL" - RISK OF EXPLOSION

I read the Joes' Cell page with interest and, as a professional engineer of 40 years with a Physics background, I can see what is really going on there, and would draw your attention to it - as innocent enthusiasts, building it without an understanding of what's occurring, could risk SERIOUS InJURY The cell as described, will certainly do something interesting and I am not at all surprised it generates a useable fuel, if built carefully and plumbed into a carbuettor - I'd guess it would alter engine performance quite a bit.

What's really happening (I'm sorry to pour cold water on the 'Orgone energy' idea) is the "Joe Cell"

is a perfectly good, but ordinary, Electrolysis Tank That's all - when you connect it to the battery (either way round in fact) it will electrolyse the water fairly fiercely, yes producing brown sludge (a goo of iron salts, from the steel) and creating a perfectly good fuel.

Unfortunately - that "fuel" IS the 2:1 mix of Hydrogen and Oxygen, which pours off the two plates (H at the Cathode and O at the Anode - the same as in any school phusics lab) THE IMPORTANT PART is that the two gases are allowed to remix THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS.

Normally, electrolysis systems carefully separate the anode and cathode gas and collect the Hydrogen and Oxygen separately - for safety reasons In Joes' cell, the two simply remix in the top

of the pot, and by description, are drawn off in a single tube Hydrogen and Oxygen mixed together

IS AN EXTREMELY EXPLOSIVE MIXTURE (It is what fuelled the Saturn V first stage) ONE SPARK COULD IGNITE THE GAS INSIDE THE METAL TANK EXPLOSIVELY, AND THE TANK MAY EXPLODE AND FRAGMENT LIKE A HAND GRENADE Stainless steel is hard, and sharp.

You mention that "Joe usually mounts the tank in the passenger footwell " -this is an extrenely dangerous place for a potentially explosive steel can to be - if the tank does blow apart, it could maim or blind someone or possibly even blow a foot off.

THIS REALLY IS NOT SOMETHING FOR THE SCIENTIFICALLY UNTRAINED TO GO BUILDING IN THEIR GARAGE.

I would ask you to put a warning of explove risk on the Joe's Cell page, better still remove it altogether By the way nothing is acheived by the cell overall - the 'Orgone' thing is wishful thinking

- in truth more energy is consumed in the electrolysis, than can be stored in the released gases, so even though they will burn in the engine, overall in you cannot make enough fuel from the electricity from the motor's generator output to fuel the engine alone - that would be perpetual motion, energy for free, and that really doesn't happen in this universe Honestly.

I'm sure you'd agree t would be a terrible shame if anyone were injured, when they could have been warned: please add a warning for the unfamiliar.

Thanks for an interesting website, and good luck.

Original Message

-A S -AFETY RECOMEND -ATION, RE "JOES CELL"

Hi Mike,

I appreciate your input and your sincerity in writing me However, your conclusions about the action

of the Joe Cell are based entirely on armchair musings and they have no relation to reality whatsoever Unfortunately, that's the problem with being a "professional" engineer: you are stuck in the quagmire of orthodox physics-and that's the surest route, it seems, to losing any spark of open mindedness or creative insight when it comes to real science-and not the "approved" version of science with which you are most familiar.

When you have it pounded into your head for all the years that you might have attended school that you can't violate this "Law" or that "law" of physics, then you limit your horizons gravely and can only arrive at 'conclusions' that fit within the accepted "laws' that you are now convinced cannot be breeched You dismiss the entire phenomenon of orgone energy completely and replace it with a child's explanation of simple electrolysis Wow, have you missed the boat!

Let's review a few things:

1 You have not read my paper carefully I am not describing ordinary electrolysis It is

IMPOSSIBLE to produce the results I have described concerning the action of the Joe cell in the shop or, more importantly, the action of the cell in powering a car with ordinary electrolysis Impossible You don't appreciate what I'm describing because you haven't seen the 5.5 hours of visual data on the two Joe cell video tapes in which you can see Joe perform these experiments in his shop and on the road (of course, obtaining the video tapes and examining the evidence first hand

is completely out of the question, I'm sure, considering your 'professional' armchair command position).

2 I explained in my paper that Joe describes THREE different types of gaseous outputs that can be

produced by the Joe cell depending on how much CARE was exerted in setting up the cell to function Two of those gaseous outputs have a low yield, and a moderate yield EXPLOSIVE effect when ignited by a flame The THIRD gaseous output has an IMPLOSIVE effect when ignited by a flame It's this THIRD type of gas that is dominated by orgone energy and it is this type of "gas" that

is powering the car-not hydrogen or oxygen The action taking place inside the car's engine is one of IMPLOSION, not explosion as with ordinary gasoline (petrol to you) I had devoted perhaps 1/3 of that paper to explaining many of the unusual phenomenon that is observed here as a result of IMPLOSIVE action and YOU'VE MISSED IT COMPLETELY, being blinded by your

"professional", orthodox physics education.

3 When installed in the car, the 12 volt battery is NOT left connected to the cell There is NO

application of DC voltage to the cell after it begins "seeding" and producing the orgone output The cell is operating FREE of any connection to the battery The only time a SMALL DC voltage-the voltage of a 1.5 Volt AA battery- is applied to the cell is when using the cell in your car after dark After the sun goes down, the orgone atmospheric envelope surrounding the car lowers and the cell

might not continue to "seed" when it's 2 or 3 AM in the early morning, but beyond that, there is no

battery connection in place as the cell functions.

4 Carburetors were designed in the 1930's that used ordinary electrolysis of water and did a fair job

of powering a car (the Pogue [sp?} carburetor comes to mind), but that's not what I'm describing here-not by a country mile.

Trang 18

I'm describing an engine that is running on ORGONE energy.

The orgone energy is extracted from the surrounding ETHER (yes, I know; the Ether does not exist either, but amuse a doddering fool for another moment or two) and there is NO BREAKDOWN of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen.

I stated in my article that the ONLY water loss was slight and that was due to EVAPORATION, not from electrolysis Joe drove his car-powered exclusively with the Joe cell ( and no gasoline)- from one city in Australia to another city in Australia which covered a distance greater that 400 MILES using a single cell that contained about a quart of water He did NOT have to replenish any of the water in the cell during that trip.

The Joe Cell DOES NOT CONSUME the water.

The water acts as an attractor, condenser, and transducing medium for the orgone energy which is contained in the surrounding ether.

I could go on and on about this, but I won't It's just too annoying If you want to take off your blinders and start over again and really look into this carefully, fine; if not, that's fine too It doesn't matter to me whether you become enlightened on this subject or not It only affects you, not me.

If you can't even take the time to read -and DIGEST properly- the information I've presented in my paper, then you're not much of a "professional" anything You're just another closed minded, orthodox "professional" bump on the log skeptic who is doing nothing to aid or move humanity forward And believe me, you've got plenty of company!

So long and GOOD LUCK to you as well.

Regards, Ken

Experimenter's Guide to the Joe Cell

I have built many working cells, this experience has given

me the knowledge, not by guesswork or readingsomeone's book or listening to second or third hand "expert " opinions I now pass this information on to you.and it will always stay as my opinion and information untilyou build your own cell Only then will you know how tomake a cell, and not before!

J o e

In approximately 1992 a new form of a generator was constructed in Australia In preparation for thisbook, I spoke to both the designer and his fiancee, regarding my wish to give him the due credits, etc., for

Trang 20

his 7 years of work and cooperation with all involved parties Unfortunately due to the lunatic fringe andmoney grabbers that dealt with him, this poor, victimised individual has decided to relinquish any furtherinvolvement with the cell that bears his name So in respect to his wishes, he will simply be referred to asJoe I would simply like to say, dear Joe, that if it was not for rare individuals like you, we the vast

brainwashed majority, would never find the true beauties of Mother Nature's gifts

It is now probably to late to save Mother Earth from the years of pollution and desecration caused by thethoughtless money-grabbing multinationals As a species, we are unique Even a little simple bird keepsits nest clean, yet we the most intelligent of creation, destroy our only home! Yet, individuals like Joe show

us that there is a better way, a simple pure way, Nature's way Without the benefit(?) of years of dogmaticmind shrinking education, Joe found, by intuition, how to ask Nature a question in such a way that itanswered The answer was a method of powering machinery without the use of our primary resources orthe creation of pollution This method is well known to the select few and the technology has been aroundfor centuries Joe has made a crude easy to build version of this generator The generator is called a Joecell

W h a t i s a J o e c e l l ?

To find out, let us look at some of the characteristics of the cell as stated by Joe:

* The water in the cell is not consumed

* The cell runs cold to the touch

* It takes a period of time before the engine will run from the cell It then has an erratic

power output and works in an intermittent fashion

* When the cell is removed from the car, the engine takes an appreciable time to return

to " normal " and run from the original fuel

* If the cell is left in the car for a long period, the engine becomes " charged " From

this point, the cell is not required for the motor to run

* All spark plug leads can be removed and the engine will still run as long as the

ignition coil and distributor remain functional

* The output of the cell, does not have to be connected to the internals of the engine, a close externalcoupling will do

* The cell requires the " charging " of the water to work

* The " charged " water can be poured from one container to another without losing the

" charge "

* The cell requires a specific style of construction, little understood by most constructors

* An empirical construction style has evolved with little, if any, science or success

* The source of power for the cell and its use has great value for some individuals These

* individuals are creating misinformation, cloaking operations and fear to the cell constructors

* Human presence can affect the operation of the cell in a positive or negative way

There is much more information on the Joe cell that is available to the privileged few, but we have enough

Trang 21

information from the above clues to identify the energy type From the above, it is plain to see ( as I willexplain to you ) that without a shadow of a doubt in my mind, the Joe cell is a crude Orgone accumulator, and that the cell runs on, or collects Orgone There is a 100% correlation with Orgone energy and itsproperties As these accumulators have been and are in use all over the world, the constructor can share inthis vast pool of knowledge For example, as early as the first of January 1867 a French patent, number60,986 was issued to a Martin Ziegler for an accumulator of a living, non electrical type of force Theexperimenter can with a little research, and notes like these, bypass the myths, misinformation and themongers of secrets and get on with scientifically based facts Also, he can be prepared to realise and meetthe DANGERS that await the rash and fool hardy.

I would like to mention here the special dangers that are associated with the use of the life force, moreparticularly the Orgone energy I presume that the reader is familiar with the arts required to experimentwith hydrogen and oxygen, and is also competent in the use of the tools required to achieve the requiredresults You have read the disclaimer and I will leave it at that

As you may be unfamiliar with Orgone, I would like to mention some additional precautions

Orgone is very sensitive to disturbances and agitations from many sources Thus the Orgone energy is veryeasily excited or irritated to produce toxic effects

The following should be avoided:

* Any cathode ray device such as a TV sets, computers, oscilloscope, etc

* Microwave ovens, fluorescent lights, luminous face watches, smoke detectors and electric blankets

* Mobile phones and towers, courier radio telephone service or similar instrumentalities, airport radar andcommunication services, TV, AM, FM radio transmitters, radio traffic lights, police radar, high tensionpower lines, nuclear power plants, nuclear waste or storage facilities, and past or present nuclear testingareas

The above electromagnetic and nuclear devices and materials are known to irritate Orgone energy, driving

it into a severely excited state which Reich identified as theOranur effect These effects persist long afterthe irritation is removed ( years ) Under such persisting agitation, the Orgone energy eventually becomesimmobilised and " dead " Reich identified this deadened energy state asDor ( Deadly Orgone ) A typicalhuman reaction to Dor is lethargy, immobilisation and emotional remoteness The most important effect

is, that it tends to drive latent medical symptoms to the surface

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

If Oranur or Dor is present, an accumulator will amplify these tendencies If my cells " play-up ", I feel verytired, my face looks and feels bloated, I have trouble with my eyes, and I feel as if I was sun burnt Youshould dismantle the cell immediately and find the cause As for yourself, have a cold shower assoon as possible and you should feel better

Chapter 2.

ORGONE

" How else should it be done then? , was always the immediate question The answer is simple:

Exactly in the opposite way that it is done today! "

Viktor Schauberger

As all known effects of Orgone are seen in the functioning of a Joe cell, it is reasonable to assume that the

Trang 22

reader should have a good working knowledge of Orgone energy Additionally, as the cell obeys all knownOrgone laws and as the cell's operation does not contradict even one Orgone effect, it is safe to assumethat this is the energy that is utilised in the cell In honour of, and respect to one of the world's great, forgotten, and scorned scientists, namely Wilhelm Reich, I will continue to use the name Orgone as used byReich A multitude of other scientists, great and small, have given this mysterious force a name In afollowing chapter I have listed at least 70 names by various individuals for the same or a similar force.Orgone energy is the live cosmic energy of Nature To quote Reich The Cosmic OR Energy fills theuniverse and it is a spontaneously pulsating, mass-free energy

For interested readers, there is a huge collection of facts, opinions and absolute rubbish on the Internetregarding Reich and Orgone As the aim of this book is to focus on the Joe cell, the above definition willsuffice

Some properties of Orgone energy

Thousands of properties have been observed for the life force and I would like to list and explain the mainones relating to the cell

1 It is mass free ie Orgone energy has no inertia or weight etc So conventional test equipment thatrequires a reaction or something to " push " against to measure a force will be ineffective

2 It is present everywhere, but more importantly to the Joe cell user, the concentration is variable fromplace to place and from time to time Therefore, if the cell is leaky and located in a low concentration area,

it may stop breeding or even loose the seed The external signs are a motor that will not produce fullpower or will not run at all

3 It in constant motion It has an uneven movement from West to East at a speed considerably greater thanthe earths rotation The motion is a pulsating expansion and contraction and a flow normally along acurved path Inside an accumulator, the energy is emitted as a spinning, pulsating wave Both of these can

be seen to varying degrees in a charging vat and/or cell These signs are very important to the

experimenter as they are his tools in the different stages of seeding and breeding of the cell

4 It negates the laws of entropy Orgone energy flows from lower concentrations to higher concentrations

ie Orgone attracts concentrations to itself This is the normal process of creation and as such is a proof ofOrgone being a living energy For the experimenter, this is very important, especially in the seeding stage

If the cell is located in an unfavourable location, it may not seed or take a long time to seed I have hadcells taking 4 weeks to seed, others take only a few days

5 Matter is created from it Under appropriate conditions, which are not rare or unusual, I have had

different minerals formed from identical cells This in my case is usually a white or green powder thatforms as very fine colloid that eventually sinks to the bottom of the cell You definitely do not want this tooccur in the Joe cell as the cell will not run the car and the only solution is to completely dismantle,

repolish and clean all components For the sceptical, you may assume that the deposits are coming out ofthe water I strongly disagree

6 It can be manipulated and controlled We do this in the cell by forming alternate organic and

non-organic " cylinders " to form an accumulator for the Orgone Thus the organic layers attract and soak

up the Orgone and the metallic layers draw it from the organic material and radiate it into the interior ofthe accumulator Additionally we use electricity, magnetism and electrolysis to assist with the breedingprocess

7 It comes from the sun in vast quantities As such, allowing for thermal lag, the Orgone density peaks inthe afternoon and diminishes in the early morning hours As people have found, a leaky cell will not

function as it " dies " around 3 am to 4 am

8 It is affected by weather, ie humidity, cloud, temperature and time of day affects the accumulation ofOrgone For the experimenter with a leaky cell this explains the weird behaviour of leaky cells ie

Trang 23

sometimes they work, other times not, but if you stand on one foot, talk to it, try different water, chemistry, more or less power etc it will " come good " This has created a whole religion of what you must do or not

do, to such an extent that with the blind leading the blind, the cell in the hands of a casual constructor isdoomed to failure

9A It moves in the direction of a magnetic field This is highly significant to the cell builder This factorcontrols the position and polarity of the cell's internal wiring as well as controlling how much residualmagnetism the steel can have and still allow the cell to work This is critical in the choice and cuttingoperations of the related metals Again, a whole mythology has developed around this area From readingprevious material on the subject, it seems that the steel has to be cut by vestal virgins in the Black Forest

11 It is polarised As Orgone is polarised, that is , we can have positive or negative Orgonic force, so wecan build a positive or negative cell But, if you mix your positive and negative construction materials asmost people do, then your result is a leaky or non-operational cell

12 It will penetrate or travel along all known materials All bodies of continuous structure are equally goodconductors eg It may travel through 70 feet or more of metal As such, do not think that you are trapping

it in the cell The only reason it stays in the cell at all is because it wants to It is up to the experimenter toset up a seeding and breeding environment that is conducive to Orgone and not try to create an imaginaryprison that the experimenter hopes will trap the Orgone As a side note, mankind has created syntheticmaterials in recent times that can greatly stop the penetration of Orgone I am talking about polymers

13 It has a slow conduction rate Orgone will take 20 seconds or more to traverse 50 yards of wire For theexperimenter, this means that you should wait about 30 seconds after turning power on to the cell beforeyou can expect to observe Orgone action at a stable rate

14 It exhibits a constant upward tendency, raising vertically Highly important in creating a non-leaky cellinstallation in an car

15 It cannot remain in steel or water longer than about 1 hour Simply said, if you cell is not breeding, itwill die in about 1 hour This explains the use of a 1.5 Volt battery across leaky cells to maintain a

breeding process What you achieve with the small potential across the cell, is a very low rate of electrolysisthat matches the leaking of the cell and thus maintaining the breeding process

16 It radiates a great distance From a typical cell the radiation circumference is at least 160 feet Thinkabout it!

17 It follows optical laws It can be refracted by a prism, reflected by polished surfaces, etc This explainsthe reason for the mirrored or highly polished surfaces in some parts of the cell It also allows us to controlsome leaking by utilising optical laws

18 It surrounds itself with alternating spherical zones of opposite polarity This is utilised by us to

determine cylinder diameters and consequential spacing in the optimisation of the cell

19 It is affected by living beings Again, important, as the experimenter and his attitude can interact withthe cell

20 It can only be concentrated to a finite amount If a cell is charged to its maximum degree so that it canhold no more, the Orgone will transform itself into electricity, and in this way or form, find a discharge By

Trang 24

the visual observation of the bubbles, pulsations, and surface tension of the water, we utilise this fact toour advantage.

21 Torsion ( Orgone ) fields transmit information without transmitting energy, and they propagate throughphysical media without interacting with the media

22 Torsion ( Orgone ) fields cannot be shielded by most materials, but can be shielded by materialshaving certain spin structures As in point 12 above

23 Each physical object, in living or non-living nature, possesses its own characteristic torsion ( Orgone )field

24 All permanent magnets possess their own torsion ( Orgone ) field

25 Torsion ( Orgone ) fields can be generated as a result of a distortion of the geometry of the physicalvacuum This is demonstrated by pyramids, cones, cylinders, flat triangles, etc

26 Torsion ( Orgone ) fields can be screened by aluminium This allows the use of aluminium coatedmirrors, or highly polished aluminium to reflect our Orgone ( Torsion ) field See point 17 above

27 It will pass through all materials, but at different speeds

ORGONE POLARITY

Trang 26

" It was especially forbidden to divulge the law of attraction and repulsion,

which constitutes nature's greatest secret "

Mrs Bloomfield-Moore, circa 1893

As Orgone is polarised, either positive or negative, it can be manifested sometimes as both polarities for ashort period of time In our search for the perfect Joe cell, it is essential to utilise polarity-conducivematerials in the construction of the cell With the use of suspect materials that encourages the creation orretention of both polarities, the cell is not only a poor breeder ,but also leaky I would strongly encouragethe experimenter to choose to construct either a negative or positive cell and not to use materials atrandom or what happens to be handy or cheap This is a sure way to failure

As seen from the above short list, chemical reaction, electrolysis, evaporation, steaming, vibration, soundand chemicals are the most common goings on in the cell and in the motor To rephrase, since the naturalevents in our cells habitat favour these actions, I would suggest that the experimenter builds a cell thatutilises as many of these parameters as possible, until he gains the knowledge of the causes of the cellbehaviour I personally only build acid cells I have a dislike of the corrosion associated with alkaline cellsand also find that the water remains crystal clear and the insulators do not fail in my acid cells

Chapter 5.

THEORY OF CELL DESIGN

" Everything that is natural is silent, simple and cheap "

Viktor Schauberger

After 6 years of experimentation, I made the assumption that the Joe cell was working on Orgone energy. This assumption came as a result of hundreds of hours of reading and experimentation In all that time, allthe recorded effects of Orgone, ( and there are hundreds ) have matched the behaviour of the Joe cell. There has never been a departure from the known recorded effect of Orgone energy, not even one! As such

it would take a far braver man than I to argue with the huge supporting evidence of thousand's of

man-hours and the work from hundreds of qualified individuals from all over the world So, as my ownhumble experiments agree with the majority, I have said, and will repeat many times, the cell runs or morecorrectly, accumulates Orgone energy

Theoretical requirements

Sometimes I have to restate the obvious, namely, if we are to accumulate Orgone energy, we must have anOrgone accumulator! We are not designing this cell to use Neutrino's, Deuterium, Nitro-glycerine, steam,Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Hydroxy, or any other author's pet opinion to the contrary You will have to read otherpublications for those topics and cell designs, this train goes to Orgone country We are designing our cell

to run on Orgone energy! When I say " we ", I am assuming that the reader is following suit, and will build acell closely matching these instructions As such, a close study of the chapters on Orgone properties andcell polarities would be in order If you were a naughty boy and skipped over these sections, I would

suggest that you read them now So what have you discovered? You should be in agreement with me on atleast two points, ie that the cell should use as many of one type of Orgone polarity materials and

properties as possible, and additionally, we want to utilise as many as possible of all external forcesavailable to us to assist us in the accumulation of the Orgone energy

Are we on the right track with our Joe cell accumulator? What would we aim for in the design of a perfectenergy accumulator ? Is there any better way to go? Maybe we are on the wrong track? At this stage it may

be a good idea to consider the design parameters for the ultimate energy source After all, why waste ourtime with the Joe cell if there is a " better " way of getting our energy Better meaning, cheaper, parts

Trang 28

effective, less polluting, less destructive, longer lasting, etc If we look at the quote from Viktor

Schauberger at the start of this chapter, " natural, silent, simple and cheap " is a very good startingpoint Let me give you a brief list of the requirements of this magic accumulator and see if we are on theright track with the Joe cell:

* The Joe cell is natural as it operates on the life force ( Orgone ) It is the only natural man-made energyproducing device that does a direct interchange from a primary energy source to the final energy supply

As such it seems to provide " free energy " and thus be an impossibility This is a huge stumbling block forpeople who do not understand the concept of " free energy "

* The Joe cell is silent There are no moving parts A solar panel or Peltier effect device would be theclosest highly inefficient relations

* The Joe cell is simple No moving parts, a set of cylinders and water, you could not get it any moresimple

* The Joe cell is cheap After the initial outlay, there are no further material costs or replacements required

to worn-out parts The Joe cell is virtually everlasting If you build one with second hand components, yourtotal outlay should be under AUS $200.00

* When we use energy that is at its fundamental stage ie the energy cannot be broken up into any otherenergy constituents that are at a smaller level; we have no waste by-products and thus no pollution TheJoe cell runs on the life force energy ( Orgone ) which is a fundamental force of the Universe You are notgoing to get any more basic than that!

* Any centrifugal, expanding and exploding force is wasteful due to the creation of heat Any device thatgenerates heat as part of its operation can never be considered an efficient energy source

Nor can it ever be an over unity device The Joe cell runs cool and so does the motor that runs from it

* Any energy produced from a set of conversion stages is wasteful For example, a nuclear submarine has anuclear reactor to create heat The heat is used to create steam from water The steam drives a steamturbine The steam turbine is used to run an electric generator The electric generator is used to drive anelectric motor The electric motor turns a propeller The propeller twists in water thus providing a thrust. The thrust propels the submarine You would have to be kidding! No wonder that superior beings roll onthe floor with laughter on observing our " technology " How unnatural is all that? The Joe cell converts theprimary life force ( Orgone ) into an expanding multiple use force in one step Beautifully simple!

* The Orgone does not have to be stored or converted and stored It is an on-demand system and thusthere is no infra-structure required to store, distribute, ship, sell, etc Unlike petrol, it is the same priceeach week ( free ) Definitely not good news for the oil multi-national concerns Maybe that is why we arenot using this force? < grin>

So to summarise, I would say that, ( to the best of my knowledge ) as there is no alternative energy device

to compete with the Joe cell, we would be on the right track if we build a cell that ran on Orgone Pleasenote that the Joe cell and its construction has limitations and negatives as you have already read and willread in later chapters As we do not live on a perfect world, we are not perfect humans and the Joe cell isnot a perfect device

Making a theoretical cell

By reading through the list of Orgone properties and selecting the ones that look useable, you should haveselected these:

Property 14.As it has a preference for a vertical and constant upward alignment, we will have the outlet ofour cell at the top most point of the final structure

Property 6 As it can be manipulated, it means that we can build a container to house it We will havecylindrical cylinders, concentric and with a vertical axis to fit in with Property 14

Trang 29

Property 10 As it is absorbed in water, we are going to make a water cell As we are dealing with water, thecell has to be water proof and non corrosive.

Property 20 As it can only be concentrated to a final amount, we know that sooner or later something willoccur in the vertical plane and with our outlet located at the top of this vertical axis, ie.Property 14,

something will come out

Property 9A As it moves in alignment with a magnetic field, we know that if we place one of our potential's

at the bottom of our " conductor ", and the other potential at the top of our " conductor " a magnetic fieldwill result and the Orgone field will move in the same direction As our conductors are the metal cylinders, they now must have a concentric vertical alignment to fit in withProperty 14 As we are dealing with

magnetic fields, our cell material should not interfere with the chosen field that assists the Orgone tofollow in a vertical alignment Also, as we are dealing with water, electrolytes and magnetism, the cellmaterial suitable for the simple cell should be stainless steel with a low as possible magnetic residual Just

on the side, our " conductor " is a complex combination of water, stainless steel cylinders and ion flow.Nevertheless, it will create a directional magnetic field

Property 9B As it move at right angle to an electrical field, our concentric vertical cylinders prove a perfectmatch, ie the electric current flow is from the inner most cylinder, to the outer most cylinder in horizontallines As the Orgone flows at right angles to this field, the end result is again a vertical alignment of

Orgone Good stuff!

Now, from the table of Orgone polarities, we can get a few more " helper's " to coax the Orgone force towork for us;

The electrolysis will be very interesting to it, and as Joe said, connecting the power to the cell when theengine is running is like switching the turbocharger on full boost, man you are off! Like wise the frictionfrom the reciprocating parts in the engine will get it to go in and have a peek and then, " got you! ", we canuse it! The sound and vibration are additional bonuses when the car is running

Capacitor effect

For the electronically versed readers, let me explain to you one way that the cell acts as a concentric energyaccumulator It is a well known fact that the charge of a capacitor is proportional to the surface area of theplates Similarly, we know that the potential increases as we bring the plates closer together Now look atthe beauty of the Joe cell We have a set of concentric plates with an obvious reduction of surface area as

we move towards the middle of the cell, ie as the cylinder gets smaller in diameter, the surface areareduces proportionally Now, as the surface area of the cylinders decrease towards the middle, we

automatically have the charge increasing as we move towards the center! Therefore, the greater thenumber of cylinders, the greater or more intense is this charge build up So, thrown in at no extra designcost is an automatic magnifier for the Orgone force that is concentrated automatically at the center of thecell The above applies only if the water can act as an dielectric, ie that it does not have too many ions inthe water Thank you Nature! By the way, on a larger scale, the earth is the middle of the accumulator andthe different atmospheric layers are the cylinders that concentrate the sun radiations

End result

We now have a theoretical cell It is made from a plurality of concentric stainless steel cylinders in water, with an application of a suitable electric and magnetic field, and a top-located outlet on a vertical alignedcell

So, the above is the layout and the logic in the construction of a theoretical cell Now, dear Joe did not doany of the science, did not know any of the scientists, did not read any related books and did not knowwhat Orgone was, but by a stroke of sheer luck and intuition, he made his final cell in the above

configuration, and the rest is history! Yes, dear friend, our theoretical cell is exactly how you should makeyou practical working cell This will be explained in the next chapter

Trang 30

Chapter 6

MATERIALS AND CELL DESIGN

" There is no ideal crucible, no crucible so perfectly sealed and protected that it can be considered a closed

system, a unit absolutely isolated from the rest of the universe

Raymond Abellio, circa 1975

In this section, I would like to take you step by step, through the cell construction process I have stated inother sections of this book and I would like to also state here that there are countless methods of

constructing Orgone accumulators The method described here is based on the Joe cell construction

techniques For a very comprehensive description of this type of cell, I would presume that the reader hasread, or has access to, a copy of Barry Hilton's book, "How to run Your Car on Zero Point Energy " Thisbook contains in words and diagrams what Joe wanted the public to know about his cell As such it isessential reading

Note I have a copy of the above book and recommend it to others, but!, that does not imply that I agreewith the theories or facts as expressed by Barry and Joe Nor does it imply that I promise you that if youbuy the above book, you will be able to " run " your car, or even have a working cell Simply stated, I seeBarry's book and my own, as pieces similar to the pieces of others, in a jig saw puzzle If you put all thepieces together, you will understand the life force, or whatever else you want to call it You do not requireall the pieces if you only want to " run " a car, but the more pieces you have, the greater is you

understanding of the causes, not just the effects Thus the car will run for a longer period of time withoutmysterious " down times "

I am not interested, as established before, in arguing, challenging, debating, competing, or defending mywritten notes with any parties I give you these notes freely as a pointer, to show you a method of cellconstruction that works for me If you have something constructive to contribute, I will gladly alter mynotes

Right, with the preamble out of the way, lets get to work I will go through each step:

The following parts lists, tie in with section D

Common to all vats and cells, you will require lugs that can fit over a ½ inch ( 12 mm ) bolt, and multistrand wire capable of flowing 10 Amps continuously, red for positive and black for negative You maywant to purchase an in-line fuse holder and a few 5 Amp fuses to suit

A1 Charging vat ( Optional item )

This vat can be any suitable low paramagnetic food grade steel container A favourite with Joe and others is

a stainless steel beer keg These seem to be plentiful, but be wary of quality The seam welds are

particularly paramagnetic There is a story of Joe testing about a hundred kegs before he found one that he

Trang 31

liked Unless you are going to use the large cones, about 10 inches ( 250 mm ) diameter, I see no usefulpurpose to have such a large charging vat Even if you employ it to fill up your radiator, it is still a hell of alot of water I could see a use for one as a shared club or group resource, but not for one individual Ipersonally use a much smaller vat with an internal working height of 11 inches and a diameter of 8 inches. This type of keg has the advantage of not being seam welded horizontally half way up the container This isexactly where you do not want any magnetic bands! My cone diameters are either 5.5 inches or 6 inchesdepending on the scrap metal dealer.

So, you will need:

1 x Keg of your chosen size

8 x Cones of chosen size

1 x Nylon, or similar, central cone support rod

8 x Nylon, or similar, spacer washers to suit cones and central support rod

16 x Neoprene O-rings to suit central support rod

1 x 300 mm long by 6 mm diameter ( approx ) stainless steel support rod ( Use horizontally across keg

to hold central rod and cone assembly )

1 x 1 meter long ( approx ), by 12 mm wide stainless steel strap, approximately 1 mm thick

6 x Stainless steel pop rivets

Note If you just want to get on with it, and you only want to charge your car cell, you do not require acharging vat Its main virtue is the quantity of water and the ability to remove any scum from the top of thewater Unfortunately, as you car cell is enclosed, this scum is not so readily removed, but there is nothing

to stop you charging the water in your car cell, tipping out you stage 3 water in a glass container, filteringthis water and reintroducing it back into you car cell Anyway, if you use the methods described in thesenotes, you will find that your scum will be at a minimum I have always charged my car cells as a standalone unit, ie no charging vat The advantages are that you know that the cell and the water are okay andnot just the water, as the case would be, if you simply added the water out of your charging vat into yourcar cell

A2 4 cylinder test cell

The test cell is a vital piece of equipment that you should make It has two main functions: One, it is atraining aid for you while you are learning about the different stages of charging the water You will easily

be able to observe the different bubble types, surface tensions, deposits in the sump and colloidals

suspensions in the water Two, you will be able to fill it up with suspect water from you main car cell andtest to see if the water is still at stage 3 You do not have to be Einstein to work out that your test cellcontainer should be transparent

You will need;

1 x Glass or clear ( not translucent ) acrylic container about 6 inches ( 150 mm ) diameter by about 8inches ( 200 mm )tall The container must have a lid!

1 x Set of 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 inch and 4 inch cylinders about 5 inches ( 125 mm ) long

18 x ½ inch ( 12 mm ) diameter by ½ inch long spacers

1 x Approx 10 inches ( 250 mm ) stainless steel strap as per charging vat parts list

2 x Small stainless steel nuts and screws to secure the strap to the plastic or glass container

2 x Stainless steel pop rivets

Trang 32

1 x 1.5 feet ( 500 mm ) of heat shrink tubing to fit over you stainless steel strap.

2 x Lower acrylic support combs, ( to be described later )

Note If you use the glass jar, you may want to insert the negative via a ½ inch ( 12 mm ) stainless steelbolt via a hole that you drill through the bottom of the jar In that case, you will need a 3 inch ( 76 mm )stainless steel bolt, nut and washer, plus two Nylon or Teflon machined washers where the bolt exits theglass container The extra effort may not be worth it unless you can get the parts cheaply

A3 4 cylinder car cell

The construction of the 4 cylinder and 5 cylinder cells are the same except for the extra cylinder and 6spacers Thus I will only describe the construction of the 5 cylinder cell If you want to make a 4 cylindercell, follow the construction of the 5 cylinder cell without the extra cylinder

Note The only reason that I mention the 4 cylinder cell at all, is again due to the myths that have

developed in the " field " Basically, the story goes like this: It is rumoured that if you do not use thecharging vat, you can only charge and run you car with a 5 cylinder cell You supposedly cannot charge youwater with a 4 cylinder cell, only run you car on it Joe also mentions in his video that he thinks that the 4cylinder may even run the car better than the 5 cylinder cell Personally, I have found that you can chargeboth a 4 and a 5 cylinder cell and thus, they will also run the car As the leakage of a cell is determined bythe " layers " or number of concentric cylinders, the 5 layer cell is a better cell I have found that a 5

cylinder cell works much better for me and I really have nothing to recommend the 4 cylinder cell for, except that it is a smaller cell There is still meagre feedback from constructors, so the jury is still out.A4 5 cylinder test cell

This is my favourite configuration My very first test cell was a glass 5 cylinder cell with 7 inch long

cylinders This cell has been in constant use now, for about 6 years, still not broken after countless

dismantles and services The insulators and cylinders after 6 years are as good as they were on day 1.This cell uses the ½ inch bolt-through-the-bottom alternative

The construction is the same as the 4 cylinder test cell, with the addition of 6 extra spacers to support theextra 5 inch cylinder That's it

A5 5 cylinder car cell

This is the one, dear people You either get this one right or end of Joe cell as reality and back to fantasy. This is the baby that has to seed and breed for you This is the one that has to be reliable and sludge free. This is the one that people will judge your sanity on If it does not work, you go down the path of all otherfailures and dreamers Conversely, when you get it working, you will not be able to count all your new "friends " They will all want one, just " like the wizard made "

There are variations, I will give you my favourite one, you will need:

1 x Set of hand selected, polished, clean, low paramagnetic, ( maybe heat treated ) 1 inch, 2 inch, 3 inchand 4 inch inner cylinders, of 8 inch length, or length very close to 8 inches, as calculated from own yourcalculations as per Chapter 7

1 x 5 inch diameter outer cylinder, as above, but 10 inches long

1 x Lower plate, one 5 inch thread, one 5 inch O-ring seal and one 5 inch nut to suit the above

outer casing This is not of-the-shelf You will need machine work to make the press fit

section See diagram

1 x Top cone This is a standard 5 inch to 1 inch tube reducer Apex angle to suit material but between 60

Trang 33

and 90 degrees and optimally 57 degrees for 316L stainless.

24 x ½ inch diameter by ½ inch long ebonite or similar spacers

1 x 3 inch long by ½ inch diameter stainless steel bolt, nut and washer

2 x Nylon or Teflon machined insulators for bolt exit

1 x 1 inch ( 24 mm.) diameter compression fitting for your cell outlet This outlet will be a right- angle orstraight fitting depending on your individual requirement This is where your 1 inch ( 24 mm ) outsidediameter aluminium engine pipe fits in

1 x A suitable length of 1 inch outside diameter ( 24 mm ) aluminium tube for your cell to engine blindplug fitting ( My tube has a 20 mm inside diameter but this is not critical )

1 x 1 inch ( 24 mm ) long, ½ inch ( 13 mm ) inside diameter stainless steel tube This slips over thestainless steel bolt and holds the inner cylinders clear of the bottom

3 x Acrylic combs to support the inner cylinders Optional, to be described later

Note All components should have the minimum paramagnetic field possible Your test magnet can beslightly attracted, but must not stick and support its own weight! All parts are to be cleansed in mildvinegar or acetic acid that has been added to juvenile water Do not leave finger prints on any stainlesssteel surface

Regarding heat treating, as the Curie point of most stainless steel is 800F and higher, our heat treatmentmust exceed this temperature Two methods that work are:

1 Local advice from a Melbourne heat treatment operator: he suggests to place the material in an oven at1200F for three hours in a Nitrogen gas, then reduce the temperature slowly to atmospheric over twelvehours

2 TM Technology, ( http://.www.tinmantech/html/faq_stainless_working_joe-c.html ) suggest 800F to1200F for ½ to 2 hours

B Selection of material

Material selection can be broken down into:

B1 Stainless steel cylinders and cones or domes

A vast amount of good advice and pure drivel has been written on this subject So much so, that I had cellbuilders from USA telling me that the right grade 316l stainless steel is unobtainable over there, andAustralia is the only place that is can be sourced from! I have also been told by " experts " that this steelcan only be made in the Southern Hemisphere ( due to the Earth's magnetic field rotation, ) and that is whythe Joe cell only works in Australia and New Zealand! When I tell them that I cannot afford to buy new steeland obtain most of my stock via scrap metal dealers from dismantled American and British food

machinery, they then think I am hiding the truth from them and that I am somehow refusing to show themthe " secrets " of the cell design What can you do with some people?

So, where do we go to get this " unobtanium " material? Where is the line between fact and fiction?

First of all, let's go to the start of Joe and his cell designs You would have noticed historically that he usedplastic and stainless steel in his designs and, irrespective of the material used, ALL types of cells workedfor him So it does not have to be stainless steel at all! As I will show in a later book, stainless steel is reallyquite a lousy material, but will suffice for this cell However, as people, including Joe, experimented withvarious chemicals, they discovered that some stainless steels had three main advantages; namely, itformed a good pressure container, it was impervious to the majority of chemicals and it was "

non-magnetic "

Trang 34

I will list some of the " non-magnetic " stainless steel, but please note that all stainless steel will be

magnetic to some slight degree:

AISI 304 Used in dairy, textile, dyeing and chemical industries for containers subject to different types ofcorrosive conditions

AISI 316 Parts for chemical and food plants, wearable for high temperature

AISI 316L As for 316, but with superior corrosion resistance when exposed to many types of chemicalcorrosives, as well as marine atmospheres It also has superior creep strength at elevated temperatures.AISI 310 Furnace parts, radiant tubes, annealing boxes and heat treatment fixtures

AISI 410 Cooking utensils, turbine blades, coal screens and pump rods

AISI 420 For the automobile and aircraft industry Components such as valves, pistons, and nuts andbolts

AISI 431 Parts requiring highest strength and rust resistance

Now, for reasons that I do not fully understand, the Joe cell fraternity has decided that only 316L will do Ihave proved over and over that this is a myth Not only that, I would challenge any builder to pick 316Lstainless from similar grades at a scrap metal dealer! What we are looking for are cylinders, cones anddomes that have the least remanent paramagnetism This is easily checked by taking your faithful rareearth magnet to your metal dealer My magnet is only 5 mm diameter by 3 mm thick and is attached to aconvenient length of fishing line By swinging the magnet near the stainless steel you will easily see howparamagnetic the steel is Especially check the longitudinal or spiral seam welding The magnet will beattracted to the seam, but reject the material if weld seam is discoloured for more than ¼ of an inch ( 6

mm ), or it is a different thickness to the rest of the metal, or the magnet sticks and stays there supportingits own weight

Note

* Always have a keeper on your test magnet when you carry it in you pocket, as it just loves to " wipe out "credit cards and similar magnetic stripe products!

* Do not use a ferrite magnet! similar to the easily obtainable round speaker magnets that every

experimenter has in abundance These are nowhere near strong enough and you will be deluded intothinking that you have found " Joe cell steel heaven ", as the stainless steel will pass your magnetic tests

If you plan to heat treat you cell components after all machining and welding operations, the selectionprocess does not have to be quite so rigorous I personally would get the least paramagnetic steel anyway,

as it is no extra in a scrap dealer and you may not have to heat treat the completed cell

* If you are buying new stainless stock be prepared for some awfully dodgy 316L stainless

It seems to vary tremendously with the country of origin I have found that certified stainless in a plasticwrappers and with '316L' written longitudinally and repetitively along the whole length is generally fine. You will find that when you spin a good piece in a lathe and gently hold it with your hand, a good piece willfeel " round ", but with a bad piece, you will feel longitudinal ripples Similarly when you are cutting a piece

of genuine 316L you will hear a ringing and the saw will be really working to cut it I have cut some

so-called 316L that cuts like butter! Believe me, real 316L is a bitch to work with

Summary of the above Since 316L is " the best ", try to buy some certified 316L stock Try to buy someseamless tube if you can Do not buy any on some salesperson's guarantee that it is non-magnetic Test it!

If they will cut it free of charge, see how they cut it and get it cut at least 1 inch, ( 25 mm ) oversize

Usually a top supplier will charge about a $1.00 a cut with a liquid cooled band saw In such a case, you donot require a large waste margin, a ¼ inch will do for you truing operation on the lathe Make sure that

Trang 35

there are no dents or major scratches in the sections that you purchase.

The cones are usually an off-the-shelf reducer and you should have no problems in getting what you want( except for price ) The cones normally have seam welds, so check these You can also get of-the-shelf,any compression fitting, flange, thread, blanking cap, bolts, nuts and washer What you can buy is onlylimited by the size of your wallet All certified stock, even the washers, will have '316' written or stampedinto the component If you are using dome ends of varying geometrical configurations, you will have tohave them hand beaten or spun to you dimensions I don't have to tell you that anything to do with

stainless is expensive Think about it three times and buy once only! Consider carefully what cone angleyou want to use For example, a cone reducer from 5 inches to 1 inch can be made in many differentangles Do not assume, that because the end holes are the correct diameter, that this automatically makesthe optimum cone angle

B2 Insulation material and cylinder spacers

The insulation material that is used where the ½ inch ( 12.5 mm ) bolt exits the lower cell fitting is not thatcritical I have used Nylon, Teflon and similar polypropylene and polycarbonates They all work fine Find aplastics supplier and rummage through his bin of rod offcuts, or if that fails, you will have to buy some. The colour is not important I use a white or off white as a preference Teflon is by far the best, if you canafford it I do not use it I buy 2 inch ( 50 mm ) greasy Nylon rod that is far cheaper and that I machine to

inch diameter by a meter long is about AUS $6.00 In Melbourne you can obtain it from E C Menzies Pty.Ltd., 19 Ewing St Brunswick Phone is (03) 9387-5544 As purchased, this rod is not polished and youcould polish it with fine wet and dry emery paper if you so wish

You can also use 100% silicon thick wall tubing, or red rubber chemical corks of the right size as

recommended by Barry Hilton I have tried a mixed set of the above in one cell to see which would fail first

I discovered that after 6 months both the silicon tubing and the rubber corks lost some elasticity andalthough the cylinders had not slipped, in a four wheel drive, rough terrain application, there would havebeen some problems A neutral and superior spacer can be machined from Teflon rod and it works verywell

B3 Cell to motor tube

This one is nice and quick I have stuck to 1 inch ( 24 mm ) outer diameter aluminium tube, with a wallthickness of 1/16 of an inch, ( about 1.6 mm ) so the inside diameter is 20 mm It is readily obtainable, reasonably easy to bend, electrically conductive and works well as a guide for Orgone I standardise on 1inch ( 25 mm ) outer tube diameter for all the cells that I make and supply and thus the cells are

interchangeable for fault finding and performance checking I would strongly suggest that the biggergroups involved in cell design, should agree to a set of standards for cell design that are mutually agreed

to world wide This would allow mass production of cells with the related advantage of cost cutting anduniformity Other diameter of tubes and materials can be used, there is no rigid rule If you find somethingthat works for you and it is readily obtainable and cheap, please let me know so that I can add it as anupdate to this manual For example, I have used normal clear plastic water tubing, covered it with

aluminium foil and then I have heat shrunk a plastic sleeve over the lot to give it strength Not as good as

Trang 36

solid aluminium, but easy to form and easy to make when you have no access to solid aluminium tube.

So there you have it for the materials Low component count, therefore simple and close to Nature

C2 Polishing

This is not a difficult operation I use about 400 grade emery paper and whilst the part is rotating in thelathe, I polish the internal and external tube surfaces Do not polish to leave cross hatch marks, ie do notmove your emery paper laterally back wards and forwards at speed Make you lateral traverses slowly. That's it, no mysterious techniques

C3 Welding

I have my parts either Tig, Mig or plain old oxy acetylene welded with 316L rod or wire Again no

mysterious techniques, just a good welder

C4 Insulators and spacers

I turn my chosen spacer material on the lathe I cut off my ebonite rod or Teflon to ½ inch ( 12 mm )lengths on the lathe Ditto, no mysteries

As you can see, there is no laser cutting or matching to angstrom units for part dimensions Nor is thereany submerged welding by highly qualified aircraft experts All operation can be performed by a

handyman or the nearest machine shop

C5 Press fit operations

I sometimes press fit components At all times, as a result of the press fit process, I make sure that I have

no change in internal dimension and the press fit is exactly that, ie not a finger push fit I clean and "pickle " the surface prior to the press fit operation for about 15 minutes and then wash off the chemicals injuvenile water On the external side of the press fit, I deposit a ring of 24 hour Araldite to guard againstany weepage of electrolyte The adhesive you, use whatever it is, must not be accessible to the internalworking of the cell, otherwise it will deposit itself all over the cylinders and insulators and diminish or " kill

" cell operation

D Options

The following options are possible;

D1 Construction of a charging vat

The options are related to the cone diameters As explained in A1, I make the small charging vats; Joe,

Trang 37

Barry and others make the large ones that use 10 inch ( 250 mm ) cones There are variations in thequantity of cones, as used by Joe, and this is covered in detail in Barry's book I prefer to use 8 cones, 1reflector, 1 positive, 2 negative and 4 " spacers " There are also variations in the support method of thecones I prefer the central Nylon rod Others prefer spacers between all the cones around the periphery ofadjacent cones and an agricultural pipe up the middle of the cones ( see Barry's book).

As mentioned previously, unless you are after a vast quantity of charged water or have scum problems, youwill not need it

D2 Construction of 4 cylinder test cell

You can have the outer container made from glass or acrylic ( Perspex ), but in all cases, make sure it isclear The other variation is in the method of extracting the negative, either with a stainless steel strap outthe top, or with a stainless steel bolt out the bottom Again, it is up to you The bolt out the bottom is apain, as the container now has to be supported by a suitable stand Also, the bolt method introducesfurther costs For a test cell, it is not mandatory to use a bolt entry from the bottom of the cell

D3 Construction of 4 cylinder car cell

See notes for 5 cylinder car cell

D4 Construction of 5 cylinder test cell

See notes for 4 cylinder test cell

D5 Construction of 5 cylinder car cell

The variations are quite numerous The obvious ones are the composition of the spacers and insulators. This I have covered and will not repeat

We have a choice in the way that we " join " the outer cylinder with the cones or domes or plates

We have a choice in the support mechanism for the inner cylinders

We have a choice in the geometric shape of our top and bottom " covers "

We have a choice in the way that we attach the ½ inch bolt to the 1 inch tube

We have a choice in the outlet fitting type

E Assembly

E1 Charging vat

There are several versions of the charging vat There is a thorough coverage by Barry Hilton in his book Isuggest that the reader has a look and then they can decide which version they want to build

Either way, apart from size and some minor details, the vats are very similar The one that I am about todescribe is my version and matches the previous part list I will keep this section brief, on the assumptionthat you have seen Barry's book As you can see, the photos make the construction quite clear

E1a I will mention a few pointers that may be not clear from the photographs:

* Remove the metal mandrel head out of the pop rivets as the remanent head is not stainless steel and will

be magnetic and will rust

* The stainless steel strap from the two negative cones must not be cut, and thus is one continuous length (

as described in Barry's book )

* The function of the O rings, is to allow the gasses liberated by electrolysis to pass via the irregularly cutcentral holes of the cones You place one O-ring on each side of the Nylon spacers So the order would be,

Trang 38

one cone, one O-ring, one Nylon spacer, one O-ring and finally the next cone and so on with the nextO-ring, etc until you complete the cone stack.

As you can see, I have left this section very brief on the assumption that most readers will not build acharging vat, or if they did, there is sufficient information above if you study the photos

E2 4 cylinder test cell

I will not cover this test cell, as it is the same as the 5 cylinder test cell, minus one cylinder

E3 4 cylinder car cell

I will not cover this car cell, as it is the same as the 5 cylinder car cell, minus one cylinder

I have however, provided ample photographic views of the construction

E4 5 cylinder test cell

E4a The 5 cylinder test cell is similar to the 5 cylinder car cell as described in E5 below When you

complete you 5 cylinder sub-assembly as per E5c, palace it to one side and proceed with next step

E4b Have somebody drill the appropriate size hole in the bottom of the jar to match the stepped washer

as per E5e I drill my own hole in the glass, using the right size outer diameter copper tube I attach thiscopper tube in a slowly rotating vertical drill and lubricate the copper cutting edge with a mixture ofkerosene and fine valve grinding compound The grinding compound can be obtained from any motoraccessory shop Go nice and easy, and frequently add new cutting paste Haste means a broken jar, so donot say I did not warn you When finished, dispose of the ground glass, paste, etc in a safe way

E4c Assemble cylinder sub-assembly to glass jar as per car cell assembly Do not over-tighten the nut! Fillwith juvenile water, test for leaks, etc

E5 5 cylinder car cell

E5a Rather than covering the construction of Mark 1, Mark 2, mark 3, etc types of cell, I will cover theconstruction of a 5 cylinder that I consider as the " best " of the simple type of Orgone accumulators that

we have called the Joe cell I cannot see any value in covering the other variants of simple type of 5 cylindercells, only to tell you at the end to build the one I am about to describe

E5b Make sure that you hands are not oily and re-check that all cylinders are clean Obtain a kitchencutting board or a piece of MDF or chip-board or any smooth and level surface will do We will assemblethe cell upside down on this flat surface, as this will ensure that the finished cell will be flat across the tops

of the cylinders, ie the side that is on the flat surface ( as this is the critical area! ) As your cylinders willnot be perfectly identical in length, this method will also place the irregularities towards the bottom of thecell, where it is not as important

* The first step is to prepare our ½ bolt, so that the hexagon head is a tight press fit into one end of the 1inch cylinder A minimum amount is ground or turned to off from the hexagon head so that the bolt head

is a tight interference fit inside the tube I have seen bolts with unaltered heads hammered into the pipe.Depending on the bolt, this caused the tube to assume a hexagonal appearance where the bolt head wasforced into the tube It still works okay, but it is not aesthetically pleasing If you perform the task correctly, there will be a minimum of distortion to the outside of the tube and the water will be able to flow easily inand out the tube via the hexagonal flats of the bolt head, as they are not touching the inside walls of thetube

* The head of the bolt is pressed into the tube until the bottom of the head is in the tube by ¼ of an inch or

6 mm See diagram and picture If you look through the tube you must see adequate clearance for waterflow On the bolts I use, when I finish the lathe work, all the hexagon shape is removed and I have to grind

3 slots in the head with my angle grinder to provide channels for water flow When you roll the 1 inch tube

Trang 39

on a flat surface the bolt shaft should roll with no wobble This verifies that you have pressed the bolt headsquarely into the tube It is easy to drive some bolts into the tube and not keep it concentric-centric withthe tube The end result is that the whole inner cylinder assembly will be askew and interfere with theproper seeding of the cell.

E5c Now take your 1 inch tube and place it upright on your assembly board, with ( obviously ) the bolttoward your face Remember that the flat board end of the tube will finish up as the top of the inner

cylinder assembly Take you 2 inch tube, slip it over the 1 inch tube and position it so that there is anequal gap between the 2 inch and the 1 inch tube As you build up your inner cylinder assembly you willrepeat this step with you 3 inch and 4 inch tubes

* Take 3 of you chosen ½ inch (12 mm ) long insulating spacers and force them into the gap between thetubes at 120 degree spacing Push your insulating spacers into the tube until they are below the tube edge

by ¼ of an inch ( 6 mm ) As I use ½ inch ebonite spacers, I have to file a flat to reduce the overall

diameter of the ebonite before I press fit them into the tube I place this longitudinal flat towards theconvex or outer cylinder surface for best friction fit If you use Teflon or Nylon rod, you will have to

machine this tolerance factor into you rod diameter before you cut it up into you ½ inch spacers Naturally, this problem does not exist with rubber hose or any other malleable material You will find that if you use amalleable material, with time, your cylinders will sag and you will lose your critical level top line-up frominner cylinder to inner cylinder In that case, I would suggest that you make a supporting comb assemblyunder the cylinders to support them I have made these out of Perspex ( acrylic ) and they resemble a combwith the teeth facing upwards The cylinders fit in the roots of these teeth, with the teeth spacing being thegap between adjacent cylinders Please be wary of the type and quantity of acrylic that you use Severalexperimenters have found that some grades of acrylic can short circuit the cylinders if used for separators

or support medium Avoid acrylic and similar materials until you become more proficient with cell

characteristics

* You now reverse your 1 inch tube and do the above, for the top 3 insulators As the bolt body is obviously

in you way when you try to place the tube on your flat surface, you will have to drill a ½ inch hole in yourassembly board I hope that it is not your wife's or girlfriends chopping board or bread board! So now thefinished product is a 2 inch cylinder supported by 3 top and 3 bottom spacers with a dead flat relative topsurface

* The above procedure is repeated for your 2 inch to 3 inch tubes, and your 3 inch to 4 inch tubes I findthat for the 3 inch to 4 inch tubes, it is better to use 4 insulators at each end for a total of 8 instead of 6inter tube spacers The reason is that the larger diameter of the 4 inch tube now allows considerableflexure and 3 insulators at each end are not enough for a firm fit

* There is no magic in the alignment of inter tube insulator line-up Some perfectionists insist in having 3radial lines ( as in three spokes of a bicycle wheel ), radiating out from the center, with 120 degree

spacing I have not found this critical You now have a inner tube cylinder sub-assembly completed Thelast step is to put the assembly back on your flat surface with the eventual working top down, and the boltpointing up towards you Now with a wooden or rubber mallet, gently tap all the cylinder edges, as to forcethe eventual top surface to be perfectly flat Great, put this sub assembly to one side and let's move on.E5d To assemble the outer case of the cell, the following welding and machining operations are required:

* Have your top cone to compression fitting welded together I would suggest that your compression fitting

is designed for 1 inch ( 24 mm ) outer diameter tube This way, all club members or larger groups will beable to interchange cells as a help with car conversions After the above welding, remove any " dags " thatresulted from the welding operation Grind and polish this junction, so that the internal transition fromcone to outlet fitting is as smooth as you can achieve, without ridiculous fastidiousness Check that thejoint is water tight

* Press fit your modified thread to one end of the 5 inch cylinder, making sure that the 5 inch cylinderprotrudes slightly below this male thread, so there is metal to metal contact with the lower cap when it isassembled and the 5 inch nut is done up This step must also allow reasonable compression of the

Trang 40

O-ring See pictures.

* Have the cone welded to the other end of the 5 inch cylinder As in the step above make sure that thetransition from cone to outer cylinder is smooth on the inside Check that the joint is water tight

* At this stage, have you outer assembly heat treated to remove the paramagnetism from the weldingoperation I do not do this, I use the unit as it ends up after welding and the cell works okay, but to

guarantee the success of your cell, I would strongly recommend the heat treatment step When the unitcome back from the heat treatment people, lightly repolish the outside and inside Also, at this stage, run abead of 24 hour Araldite, or similar, over the outside only junction of the pressed thread ring and the 5inch cylinder This will ensure that you will not have any slight electrolyte weepage from the press fit Thiscompletes the outer case construction Place it next to you completed inner cylinder assembly and letsmove on

E5e All that is left to do is to complete the lower cap and ½ inch bolt support system In the middle of thelower cap, you will need a hole that is ½ inch ( 12 mm ) greater in diameter than the shaft diameter of thebolt So for example, if your bolt shaft was ½ inch diameter, you would drill a 1 inch hole in the lower capplate This allows a ¼ inch ( 6 mm.) gap that will be filled up by your inner insulating washer

* You now require a 1 inch ( 25 mm ) length of thin wall tubing that you push onto the bolt until it touchesthe lower edge of the bolt head Make sure that the outer diameter of this sleeve tube is not so large that itblocks the water flow in and out of the 1 inch cylinder

* The next step is to make 2 washers from Nylon, Teflon, etc The inner washer will be stepped ( see photo) The smaller diameter step will have a 1 inch outer diameter and deep enough to be nearly as thick as thecap material thickness The outer diameter of this stepped washer is not critical, so about 1.5 inches will

do The thickness of this larger diameter matches the distance that the bolt is inserted inside the 1 inchtube So, ¼ inch ( 6 mm ) is required in our example This will result in the inner cylinder assembly being

1 inch above the lower cap This insulator has a central hole drilled through it to exactly match the shaftdiameter of the chosen bolt A tight fit here will minimise and water loss down the bolt and thus out of thecell The insulator that is on the bolt on the outside of the lower cap is easier to make Make it about ¼inch ( 6 mm ) thick and 1.5 inches wide The hole in the center is again made to match the shaft diameter

of the bolt

E5f Now assemble the inner cylinder assembly to the lower cap plate With clean hands, place the innercylinder assembly top down, bolt up, on your flat plate If not already done, slip your 1 inch long spacersleeve onto the bolt Next apply Vaseline ( petroleum jelly ), liberally all over the bolt shaft and innerwasher Place the inner washer onto the bolt so that the smaller diameter step is facing you and liberallycover this step with more Vaseline Now place the lower cap onto the bolt the right way round, so that the 1inch step of the inner insulator fits into the 1 inch hole of the lower cap Again liberally apply Vaseline onthe outer insulator and slip this over the bolt Next, put you washer, electrical lug and nut on the bolt ( seephoto ) Tighten the nut more than hand tight but not excessively Check your handiwork, make sure youremove excess Vaseline also ensuring you do not get any on the cylinders or over the inside of the capplate

E5g Take you outer casing, Vaseline the O-ring and sit it in the groove of the 5 inch male thread Loweryour completed inner assembly and make sure that the lower cap plate fits snugly into the 5 inch outertube, without disturbing the O-ring Take your 5 inch nut and screw it on the thread Use reasonable force

to do the nut up

E5h Fill the cell up right to the top with juvenile water and leave it overnight in an area or surface whereyou will be able to see any leaks If there were no leaks, pour out the water and give yourself a pat on theback Why? Because you are finished You can now insert fresh juvenile water to the correct level and startyour charging operations Good going!
