a Presentaion:
-T revises the use of should and shouldn’t quickly.
+In this lesson, should and shouldn’t are used to offer solutions and give strong
advice
•You should do sth = it is a good thing to do or it is the right thing to do
Ex:
1.You look tired You should go to bed
2.The government should ban cigarette smoking in public places
•You sholdn’t to do sth = it isn’t a good thing to do.
Ex:
You shouldn’t believe everything you read in the newspapers
•We usually use should with i think/ I don’t think/ do you think…?
Ex:
1 I think people should protect the sea
2 I don’t think Lan should work so hard
3 Do you think i should go out to relax?

-T elicits the form, meaning and use o the conditional sentence type 2
-T revises the form, meaning and use of the conditional sentence type 2
Form: If + subject + past simple, subject + would/could + infinitive
Trang 4 Meaning: The second conditional is used to talk about things which are unreal (not true or not possible) in the present or the future
Use: It is not used to talk about things that can happen in the present
or the future.
Ex:
1 If i was you, i would drive more carefully in the rain
(I am not you, this is unreal thing)
2 Paula would be sad if Peter left
(Peter will not leave, that is not going to happen)

-T devides the class into 2 big groups: A & B
