THE ASIAN GAMES LESSON A: READING

I AIMS:

1 Knowledge

After the lesson, the learners can read and know:

- More about the Asian Games.

- General knowledge: Through this unit, students know the history of

the Asian Games.

- New words: Words related to the Asian Games.

2 Skills

After the lesson, the learners can read for identifying the main idea and

specific information.

II EVALUATION METHODS:

Integrated, mainly communicative.

III TEACHING AIDS:

Real objects, pictures, English textbook 11, handouts

IV PROCEDURE:

1 WARM-UP (5 minutes) Introduce the topic of

the lesson and to raise
