* Pre-teach vocabulary:

5’ 1 Look, listen and repeat:

Set the scene for the dialogues

(picures)

a) Nam:What colour is your book?

Mai: It’s red.

b) Mai:What colour are your

pencils, Nam?

Nam:They’re green.

- Sets the scene from the pictures, gives pictures about Nam and Mai’s talking and asks Ss to repeat the dialogues -Runs through the dialogue

-Asks Ss to practise asking and answering questions about colours (student A:

Nam- student B: Mai) -Checks and correct

-Look at the picture and repeat

-Listen to T -Role play the characters

-Listen carefully 6’ 2 Point and say:

What colour is/are your +

(singular noun/ plural noun)?

 It’s/ They’re + colour

Ex:

Form 1:

What colour is your pencil?

 It’s brown

a) pen/ blue (picture)

b) ruler/ white (picture)

-Shows form 1 from the dialogue and asks Ss to repeat the form 1 (student A: asks- student: answers) -Asks Ss to repeat the form
