UNIT 10 : WHAT DO YOU DO AT BREAK

TIME?

LESSON 2 : SECTION 4,5,6

I Aims and objectives :

1 Language contents :

- Help the students ask and answer about games and activities they like to play at break time

2 Language function:

- By the end of this lesson, the students will be able to ask and answer about games and activities

They like / don’t like to play at break time fluently

3 Language: -Vocabulary: review

-Structures: What do Phong and Nam like ? They like _

4 Education aim:

- Help the students choose suitable activities to play at breaktime

5 Skills: Integrated skills

II Teacher’s and pupils’preparation:

- Skills : Listening, speaking, reading, writing

- Method : Communicative Approach

- Technique : Explanation , question- answer , pairwork, repetition, individual work, pair work, group work

- Material needed: Textbook , pictures, cassette player , puppets, workbook, flask cards, wall charts, worksheets

III Procedure in class : 35 mins

1.Stabilization (1m)

- Greeting

- Checking absence

2.Check-up previous knowledge (5ms):

- Check previous vocabularies by playing the game: Slap the board

- Looks at , remarks

3.Presentation of new materials (30ms)

3 Controlled- practice:

- Has Ss look at task 4 and guides

them to listen and number the

correct picture ( 1 time)

-Plays the tape and asks them to

listen and number the correct

picture and write number on the

pictures

-Plays the tape again and do the

task

- Asks the sts transfer their

answer with your partners

-Plays the tape again for the Ss

check their answers

4 Free – practice :

- Asks sts: Do you like table

5 READ AND WRITE:
