1 Turn “ON”

HANDLING OF THE DRAIN BOTTLE

1 Open the drain door Whenever you change new steriliant for a checking

3 Prepare a bottle with 100ml

of water to the arrow mark

5 Close the door

2 If the bottle is full (to the red line ), Empty the bottle

4 The both arrow marks on the bottle and the unit should

be matched

 An empty hydrogen peroxide bottle should be handled

by regulations.

CAUTIONS

 Hydrogen peroxide is an acidic chemical It can be caused of

chemical burn on your skin or irritation in your eyes.

 If you were touched by hydrogen peroxide on your skin or eyes please flush with large amount of water immediately (at least 30 minutes for eyes, 15minutes for skin) Get medical aid.

 A red button on the sterilant bottle should be matched with the red button on the HPS unit.

 Before refill and withdrawal of the hydrogen peroxide bottle,

please put personal protective equipment

WHEN AN ERROR WAS OCCURED

 After a printer paper comes out, the door will be opened.

 Wait until the process is finished

 When an error is occurred ,

HMTS-80 goes to Plasma Phase II and vent & dry phase automatically (Except Error 1, 10)

 Please refer to the Trouble - shooting.

STORAGE OF ITEMS

 Staffs only enter to the storage room.

 Store sterilized items at least 20cm from the bottom, at

least 50cm from

the ceiling, at least 5cm from the wall.

 Place sterilized items on the shelves to identify expiration date and

chemical indicators(CI).

 Place sterilized items with short expiration date on the front

 Consider that items are contaminated if they are torn or

wet.

 Consider that items are contaminated if there is no CI or it is opened.

 Do not place sterilized items with non-sterilized one

together.

THE FACTORS OF EXPIRATION DATE OF

STERILIZED ITEMS

 The material and type of packages.

 The number of handling the sterilized item before its usage.

 The number of staff dealing with the sterilized item.

 The shape of cabinet(open or close).

 The environment of storage.

(eg The status of Cleaning, temperature, humid)

 Use of a dust protective cover.
