Lesson 1: GETTING STARTED - LISTEN& READ (page 4o,41,42)

A Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to get informations about the

media

* Vocabulary

III While- reading:

-give students to match the phrasal words with the pictures

-Divide class into two groups(group A, Group B).The group which matches more correct phrasal words with the pictures first will win the game

-present the new words ,using Rut out and remember for checking

-give the poster of ordering statements prediction on the board

-run through the statements

-listen and repeat -copy the words

-get students to guess and work in pairs to put the statements in correct order

Model Dialogue:

your free time?

S2 : A bout 4 or 5 hours

* Homework:

- Write the answers in your notebook

-set the sene(you are reading about the media)

-run through the facts and events -model the first sentence

-have students read twice and check -feed back (read to check)

-stick the poster -run through -have students read the text again and answer the

questions

-call one student in each group to present their answer -correct mistakes (if any)

-call some pairs to roleplay before class

- work in pairs, read twice and complete the table
