Period 22 Lesson four: GETTING READY FOR SCHOOL(C1, 2, 3 –P 49)

I Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to ask and answer the questions about everyday activities and use the verbs with the third persons in the present simple

II Teaching aids:

Text books, pictures, lesson plan, chalks, CD player and records,

III Procedures:

* Class organizing(1’)

- Greetings

- Checking attendances: 6a : / 34 6b: /32.

1 Warm up

- Chatting about their daily

activites at home for school

2 Presentation( giới thiệu)

1 Pre teach

- uses six pictures( p 49) for

teaching vocabularies

+ elicite

+model

+choral

+ individual

+ write

+meaning

+stressed

*Checking: Rub out and

remember

- Rub out a word in English

and point to the Vietnamese

translation and ask “What’s

this in English?” When all

the English words are rubbed

out, go through the

Vietnamese list and get Ss to

call out the English words If

there’s time, get Ss to come

to the board and write the

English words again
