Diploma Changes

 All students will take Career Preparedness (new CTE

Computer Apps and Financial Literacy course with online component)

 Fine Arts is no longer required but can be taken

 Three elective credits during 9-12:

 Honors Endorsement- One year foreign language and additional CTE computer course

 Standard Diploma- Any combination of the following areas: CTE, Foreign Language, Art Education

CTE (Career Tech Education) would include any Allen

Thornton course or Mr Palmer’s classes on campus

 Starting with 2013-14 school year, all year long classes will award 1.0 credit at the end of the course.
