What is its name? Can you pronunce it ? How many syllables do you speak ? How do you sress these words ?
2 Pre-practice
a Stress the first syllable if the word has three syllables
Ex: ‘popular , ‘singular…
b Stress the third syllable from the end of word
Ex: ge’ology, phi’losophy……
c The end of word by: -ade, -oo, -oon, -ee, -eer, -ese
Ex: prome’nade ,bam’boo, engi’neer………
