family was rich When Titus grew up, he had
some factories in Bradford Conditions for people were very bad and Titus tried to
make the council help The council wouldn’t
help, so Titus moved out of Bradford He
moved three miles away He built a huge
factory (mill) and he built many streets of
nice houses for the workers They called it
Saltaire. (The river is the Aire)
