By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to understand the monologue about the book that someone has read

Warm-up

Matching: Use poster with pictures of 5 books

Match the names of the books with the kinds of

them

Work in 2 groups

1 Pre-listening

T shows a wrapped book and asks Ss to make

questions to guess the name of the book, the

content, author, main character…

Asks Ss to run through the meanings of the words

other group

-Plays the tapescript the 2nd time
