• Getting to know the students names
Teacher and student will do a ball toss game to engage the students and to help new students as well as the teacher become familiar with one another (20 minutes)
• Discussion
Teacher will discuss creative writing with students and see what they
already know about creative writing (15-20 minutes)
• Creative Writing Lesson
Students will be given a lesson in which they will be responsible for creating
a story (15-20 min)
- Students will openly discuss how they created their story for classmates
to enjoy (15-20 min)
• Lesson/Discussion
Teacher will go over some of the descriptive parts of grammar (nouns, adjectives, verbs etc.)
-Students will be able to give their input as well as examples of what they are
Lesson= Mad Libs
Teacher will have students participate in a few silly stories that they have created w/ one volunteer for each story to read it aloud for the classmates
• End of class discussion
-Teacher and students will go over the lesson for the day
