Cấu hình IS-IS over Frame Relay

1 Mục tiêu

Trong bài lab này, chúng ta sẽ cấu hình IS-IS qua mô hình Frame Relay hub and spoke dùng point-to-point subinterface IS-IS qua Frame Relay không thể cấu hình multipoint như đối với OSPF

2 Hoàn cảnh

Công ty du lịch ABC mới thiết lập kết nối hai chi nhánh ở SanJose2 và Phoenix với Singapore qua Frame Relay sử dụng topology hub and spoke Bạn được chọn để thiết lập IS-IS routing trên mạng này

3 Các yêu cầu về phần cứng và phần mềm

Sử dụng 3 router Cisco 2600 series với Cisco IOS version 12.2(12) Enterprise Plus hoặc Enterprise Plus IPSec 56

4 Thực hiện

a Bước 1

Kết nối mạng theo sơ đồ như trên Cấu hình hostname, địa chỉ IP các interface ethernet, fastethernet, loopback theo đúng sơ đồ Chưa cấu hình IS-IS routing và interface serial

b Bước 2

Singapore đóng vai trò là hub trong mạng nó kết nối với SanJose2 và Phoenix qua hai PVC khác nhau

IS-IS chỉ có thể hoạt động qua mạng NBMA (như Frame Relay) khi được cấu hình full mesh Nếu các cấu hình không là full mesh có thể dẫn đến các vấn đề về kết nối và định tuyến ngay cả khi được cấu hình full mesh, một sự cố trên mạng WAN hoặc một cấu hình sai trên một hoặc vài router sẽ làm cho mạng không ổn định Để tránh cấu hình multipoint cho mạng IS-IS, ta sử dụng point-to-point subinterface

Ta cấu hình Frame Relay trên interface serial của router Singapore:

Tương tự OSPF, ta cấu hình IS-IS bằng cách cho chạy IS-IS process và xác định interface nào tham gia vào IS-IS process Cấu hình IS-IS chạy trên mạng point-to-point như sau: Singapore(config)#router isis

Nếu trên routing table của mỗi router đều xuất hiện các route 192.168.10.0/24,

192.168.20.0/24, 192.168.30.0/24 thì ta đã cấu hình IS-IS over Frame Relay thành công Thực hiện ping các địa chỉ để test các route này

Cuối cùng, thực hiện các lệnh show isis database và show isis topology:

Chú ý rằng trong output của lệnh show isis database không có pseudonode LSP (với Circuit ID khác 0) do chúng ta đang sử dụng liên kết point-to-point để nối các router

Bắt đầu từ IOS 12.1(1)T, Integrated IS-IS mismatch được mô tả như sau:

SanJose2 (multipoint) nhận point-to-point hello PDU, cho rằng hello không đúng loại và coi neighbor đó như là một ES SanJose2 coi Singapore trong show clns neighbors với giao thức “ES-IS”

Singapore (point-to- point) nhận LAN hello PDU, cho rằng hello không đúng loại và không quan tâm tới neighbor đó SanJose2 không xuất hiện trong output của show clns neighbors Ta sử dụng debug isis adj-packet để thấy rõ hơn điều này:
