Author’s Note

When I first moved to a big city, I didn’t think I would see many wild animals So when I observed wild animals

in many places, I wanted other people to know what

I discovered.

I collected facts from books and science Web sites I researched the kinds of wild animals that live in my city, Chicago For example,

I learned that long-eared owls are living right here in a Chicago city park.

I think a busy city is a great place to see wild animals

If you live in a city, or visit different cities, look around for signs of wildlife.
