In this section, you’ll learn how to:

1 Make sure your Palm device is charged and turned on

Tip: There’s no need to tap hard or “stab” at the screen – simply touching the screen lightly works great
You'll see icons representing the different applications that are installed on your device

Write with Graffiti
Tip: Palm handhelds typically include a diagram of how letters, numbers, and certain characters are written using Graffiti 2

You can also enter text into a Palm handheld using a system called Graffiti 2 Using Graffiti 2 is similar to writing by hand, but each letter
or character needs to be entered in a certain way so the handheld
can understand it
Graffiti is entered on the writing surface of your Palm (the area below the white areas) Letters, punctuation, and most other strokes are
written on the left side Numbers are written on the right side

installation options, such whether you want to configure your Palm device to HotSync with Palm Desktop or Microsoft Outlook
