Manual Transmission No - 5MT (with 1.5L Engine)Attached to the upper surface of the front part of the transmission housing.

Before lifting the vehicle, note the following:

• The vehicle must be parked on a level and rm ground.

• Pull up the parking brake or press the EPB switch.

To avoid damage to the underbody parts, please follow the procedures below:

DO NOT place a jack or axle stand where it may contact any of the following parts:

When jacking up the front of a vehicle, it is crucial to use the designated front jacking points or the jacking bracket located on the front section of the front subframe for safety and stability.

Front/Rear Supporting Point of the Vehicle

The lifting jack equipped withthe vehicle is only used to change wheels in case of emergencies DO NOT use it for other purposes.

When replacing a wheel using a lifting jack, ensure the jack is positioned on a stable, level surface and directly under the support point near the wheel being removed It's important to place the round head of the jack securely in the designated groove of the vehicle's underbody.

Warning: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported onlyby a jack.Always support the vehicle on safety stands. Hydraulic Jack

Any hydraulic jack to be considered must have a bearing capacity of at least 1,500kg (3,300lbs).

Warning: Do not commence work on the underside of the vehicle until suitable safety supports have been positioned under the sill reinforced brackets.

Warning: Always chock the wheels when jacking.

Lifting and Supporting the Vehicle Put the head of the jack on the approved lifting point at the front and rear of the vehicle - see image.

When lifting or supporting a vehicle, it is crucial to only use the designated points for jacking Ignoring this guideline may cause damage to the body or chassis components Always prioritize safety and vehicle integrity by following these instructions.

Warning: Do not commence work on the underside of the vehicle until suitable safety supports have been positioned under the sill reinforced brackets.

Warning: Always chock the wheels when jacking.

Put the mat of the lifting arm of the ramp under the jacking point on the sill.

Warning: DO not use a tow rope that is twisted - or the towing hook may be unscrewed.

Your vehicle features a front towing hole designed for attaching the towing eyes, which can be found in the toolkit located beneath the loadspace carpet in the spare wheel compartment.

To attach the towing eye, first remove the small cover on the bumper Then, screw the towing eye into the threaded hole in the bumper beam through the square opening, ensuring it is fully tightened for secure use.

In the event of a breakdown or accident, the towing eye serves as the designated point for towing your vehicle; however, it is important to note that it is not intended for towing other vehicles While a soft rope can be used for towing, utilizing a hard rod is highly recommended for safety and efficiency.

Warning: If, due to an electrical fault, potential safety hazards may exist, it is not allowed to put the

START/STOP Switch in ‘ON’ position.

Warning: DO not suddenly start the towing car with great acceleration or accelerate to avoid damaging the car.

Four-Wheel-Down Towing is strictly prohibited for vehicles equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) To prevent potential damage to the gearbox, CVT vehicles must be towed using either a suspension system or a trailer.

Suspended towing is the safest method for towing a vehicle, as it requires the driven wheels to be elevated off the ground to prevent transmission damage Before towing, ensure the parking brake is disengaged, activate the hazard warning lights, and have all passengers exit the vehicle being towed.

Four-Wheel-Down Towing Warning: The towing speed of the vehicle shall not exceed 30km/h,the towing distance shall not exceed 50km.

When the four-wheel-down towing is applied to a vehicle, pay attention to the following:

1 Switch the START/STOP button to the ON/RUNNING position, and brake lamps, wipers and direction indicators can be used.

2 If the battery is low, please stop the four-wheel-down towing and use another towing method.

3 Place the MT shift lever in N gear Place the AT shift lever in N gear.

5 Switch on the hazard warning lights.

6 If the transmission is damaged or there is no lubricatingoil in the transmission, four-wheel-down towing is prohibited.

Due to that the engine does not run, it needs to depress the brake pedal and turn the steering wheel withgreater force, and the braking distance will become longer.

Transporter or Trailer with Rope transported on the back of a trailer or transporter, it must be secured as illustrated:

• Pull up the parking brake, put the shift lever of manual transmission in N gear, and put the shift lever of automatic transmission in P gear.

• Fit the wheel chocks (1) as shown, then place the anti slip rubber blocks (2) around the circumference of the tyre.

• Fit the lashing straps (3) around the wheels and secure them to the trailer Tighten the straps until the vehicle is securely held.

The following capacity values are merely approximate value for the corresponding system.

Fluid Fuel Following recommend ed uids must be applied:

For gasoline engines , 92# and above gasoline RONis recommend ed.

Please be sure to use the coolant recommend ed and approved by SAIC Motor Glycol (OAT) coolant is recommend ed.

In emergencies, a small quantity of clean water can be added to the coolant reservoir, but this may compromise the freeze and corrosion protection capabilities and shorten the coolant's lifespan It is crucial to avoid refilling the cooling system with antifreeze of different formulations.

Using unsuitable additives in coolant can harm essential vehicle components It is advisable to utilize additives that are approved by SAIC Motor to ensure optimal performance and protection.

Use brake uid DOT 4 only.

The engine and other lubrication systems are lled with high-performance lubricating uid to extend the ser vice life.

Always ensure that you use high-quality oil with the appropriate viscosity for your engine Using oil that does not meet the correct specifications can result in increased oil and fuel consumption, potentially leading to damage to engine components.

Using engine oil that meets recommended specifications and contains additives can reduce corrosive acids from combustion and prevent residue buildup, which can block oil passages It is important to avoid using other engine oil additives and to perform repairs and maintenance within the specified intervals.

1.5L engine uses the engine oil in compliance with A5/B5

1.5T engine uses the engine oil in compliance with C5 0W-20 speci cations.

The engine oil viscosity/temperature range refers to the following table:

Failure to use the speci ed transmission uid may result in serious damage to the transmission.
