- Talking about sporting activities and pastimes

- Developing listening and reading skills

- Pictures, colored chalk, a cassette recorder and tapes

Warm up

Presentation

T checks old lesson

T asks the students some questions to lead in the new lesson and elicits some answers to introduce the new lesson

T plays the cassette once without stopping The Sts listen and read in silently (books closed)

T plays the cassette again The students listen and repeat (books opened)

T asks students give new words

T presents some new words

T uses pictures ang actions to express the meaning of new words

T reads then student read in chorus Sts copy the new words in their notebooks
