Hi everybody Today, I want to talk about why we need to learn English and how we can learn it faster

You know, it's easy to find reasons for studying English By using English,

we can communicate with many people in the world, connecting to the world, reading English books, magazines, etc

But, English is just a tool to communicate, absorbing knowledges, meeting new people or doing business So, why do you spend too much money and time to study it? You have studied so hard and in a stressful way

trying to remember lots of vocabularies and grammar rules to pass many English tests, right?

I'll give you an example, why do you need to learn vocabularies about

Airplane when you're using the train for travelling, why do you study

vocabularies about movie theater when you don't like watching films at the theater

I mean, why you need to learn so many grammar rules and vocabularies while you can't communicate with foreigners

Like you just need one chicken for your lunch, why you have to try to eat two, three or five chickens Why do you need to learn so many

vocabularies, grammar rules, many tests, but can't communicate in

English I mean what we really need is the basic skills, the ability to

pronounce English in an acceptable way to communicate in English with foreigners, the ability to look up new words in dictionaries and understand the English phonetic, so that you can learn these words you need by

yourself

What if you can communicate in English, but don't know the words used on

an airplane, just find it in dictionaries, it's easy Why do you need IELTS while you don't want to study abroad, it wastes your money

I realized that Vietnamese people studying English are struggling with few main problems:

First, they don't understand the English phonetic used in dictionaries If you don't know that, you cannot pronounce English words correctly In my

Third is I think you just need to be confident when communicating in

English People they don't care too much about your mistakes, your

grammar mistakes, they care about your ideas Like in many countries using English now, for example, Singapore, Phillipines, Malaysia, they have their own way of using English, it's different from the proper English speaking in America or England But they can communicate in English, it's the most important thing

And the English England speaking and writing is different from American, too If you can express your ideas with acceptable pronunciation and

grammar, be confident when communicating with them It will help you improve your English skills better and faster
