 All that the basic service of traditional telecommunication network is to provide voice service

 In this circuit switch , network, hardware and software are not independent.

 The designers of IP network think that transmit network doesn’t need to provide end-to-end reliable transmission services

 Softswitch is a new solution of amalgamation packet-based switch network with Public Switched Telephone Network

 Softswitch combines the reliability of PSTN and the flexibility of IP appropriately.
