This Eur opean Stan ar d spe ifies the te h ical r q ir ment to minimiz the hazar ds ls ed in Clause 4

which can ar ise d r ing the commis ioning , o er ation an maintenanc of pota le wate ser vic

eq ipment when used as inten ed, inclu ing misuse r easona ly for se a le b the man factur r, when

carr ied out in ac or danc with the spe ifications g iven b the man factur er or his author iz d

r pr esentative It also takes into ac ou t some r eq ir ment r cogniz d as es ential b author ities,

air raf an grou d sup ort eq ipment (GSE) manufactur r s as wel asairlnes an han lng ag encies

5 Safety requirements and/or measures

5.1 Gener al requir ements

5.1.1 Pota le wate se vic eq ipment shal confor m to the r elevant r q ir ements of EN1 15-1,

EN 1 1 -2, EN1 1 -3 an EN 1 1 -4 u les othe wise spe ified in this s an ard They shal also

confor m to the spe ific r q ir ment of this s andard

Machiner y shal comply with the safety r q ir ement an / r pr ote tive/r isk r d ction measur s of this

clause In ad ition, the machine shal be designed ac ording to the pr inciples of ENISO 1 1 0:2 1 for

r levant but not sig nificant hazardswhich ar not dealt with b thisdocument

5.1.2 Stabi ty an s r ngth calculations shal be carr ied out in ac ordanc with EN 1 15-2

5.1.3 The con e tion to the air raf system shal me t the r eq ir ment of ISO 17 7

5.1.4 Wher e the p table wate se vic eq ipment is inten ed to be moved on publc ro dways, the

5.2 Tanks
