1 Scope

This E ro ean Stan ard spe ifies the te h ical delvery con itions for forgings for pr s ur purp ses,

made of welda le fine g rain s e ls with high pro f str eng th

presumption of conformity to the Es ential S fety Req irements (ESR s) of Direct ive 2 14/68 EU is limited t o

tech ical data of materials in this stan ar d an do s not presume adeq acy of the material to a specific item of

eq ipment Conseq ently, t he as es ment of the t ech ical data stated in this mat erial stan ard ag ainst the desig n

req irements of this specific item of eq ipment t o v erify that the ESR s of Directiv e 2 14/68 EU are satisfied,

The chemical comp sition (cas analysis), deter mined in ac or danc with EN 1 2 2-1:2 1 shal

confor m to the r q ir ment of Ta le 2

6.3.2 Pr oduct analysis

The pr od ct analysis shal not deviate from the spe ified cas analysis ( e Ta le 2) b mor than the

values spe ified in Ta le 3

6.4 Mechanical pr oper ties

W hen heat tr ated in ac ordanc with Ta le 1, the me hanical pro er ties shal confor m to the

r q ir ment of Ta les 4 an 5

If verification of spe ified pro f s r ngth at elevated tempe atur is r q es ed ( e o tion in
