Type C contacts are for thermocouple application Class T corresponds to an operating temperature range from -65 °C to 260 °C

A sample shall be taken from each batch of wire or rod used to manufacture thermocouple contacts and tested in accordance with ISO 8056-1 except the thermo-electric tests on conductors of finished cables shall use the EMF measurement by method of direct comparison against platinum and not a substandard
