UNIT 16 : WORD PROCESSING

Definition

Word processor is uses for creating and editing text document

The toolbar that are important in editing word

Toolbar: the rows of button icons

Standard: Containing the icon for the most frequently used facilities such as saving, printing, cutting, or undoing…

Formatting and Drawing: Containing the icons to format the textx, change the size, color and layout of document

Function – icons

Open – start the application ready for use

New – begin a new file containing no data

Save – save the document to disk

Print – send the data to the printer to be printed out

Insert – enter information into the file

Edit – alter data in the document

Format – alter the appearance of the text

Title bar: show the program you’re using and the name of file
