Teacher (Mr Smith)

4 Average Kids (Lyle, Ronald, Clever, Timmy)

1 Perfect Kid (Steve)

Perfect Kid's parent (Mr Swanson)

(3 Kids and The Perfect Kid are standing on Stage just outside of the wings, Teacher walks to each one of them and straightens them up The 4th kid runs in late)

Teacher: OK Children lets try mot to make this a repeat of last years performance

All Kids(Not Together): Yes Mr Smith

(Teacher walks to podium, Students start fooling around, but not too much to get every one's the focus on them and not the teacher)

Teacher: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we all unfortunately remember last years performance of the 5 food groups done by these very same students, but I have the honor to bring these students back to you again for a second try at it These students are now in grade 5 and have learned their lesson from last year I hope you all enjoy this years topic for grade 5 African animals First up we have the strong and talented speaker Lyle Peterson (Motions to the audience to clap)

(All students but Lyle walks off Teacher meets Lyle half way and whispers)

(Students ever once and a while poke their head out or wave)

Teacher: Do me proud Lyle and don't get nervous

Lyle(Nervous): OK Mr Smith

(Lyle walks to Podium)

Lyle: Hhhi everyone, I um uh to uhhh

(Lyle motions the Teacher to come here)

Lyle: I I I can't do this.

Teacher: Just pretend their naked

(Lyle looks at audience and starts to stare in amassment Looks at himself and runs off stage.)

Teacher: Lyle! Lyle!!! Uh Oh well Lyle Ladies and Gentlemen(Motions a clap) Next we have the confident, the aggressive speaker Ronald Chafe(Motions a clap)

(Teacher meets Ronald half way and whispers)

Teacher: Remember Speak loud

Ronald: Gotcha

Ronald: (Yells into MicroPhone) GOOD EVENING THE ANIMAL I CHOSE WAS THE AFRICAN ELEPHANT (Teacher cuts him off)

Teacher: Ronald Not So Loud!

(Ronald gives him a thumbs up)

Ronald: (Even Louder) I CHOSE THE ELEPHANT BECAUSE IT IS BIG AND HAS

LONG (Teacher cuts him off again)

Teacher: Thats enough Ronald, just stop Ronald everybody(Motions a clap Ronald starts claping)

Oh my Guess what it can only get better from here every one because up next is Clever

Woods.(Teachers turns off microphone and walks to meet clever half way but just sighs and walks off)

(Clever walks on confused, and knockers over podium, he then picks it up He mouths the words

"Hi I did the zebera it is endgangered" because the mic is turned off)

Teacher: Clever! Clever Turn on the Mic!

(Clever turns it on)

Clever: As I was saying the zebra is (walks away from microphone mouthing words because of

no microphone)

(Teacher walks on)

Teacher: Thank you Clever (Clever keeps talking) Clever Clever CLEVER! ENOUGH!

(Clever mouths the word "Oh" and bows to audience and walks off)

Teacher: Next is Timmy Tompson (Just walks right past Timmy)

(Timmy reaches podium and is too short for it, but talks any ways, he is very quiet)

Timmy: I like the Giraffe because it is big (Reaches as hi as he can above podium) They're real tall and I like them I think they are huge (Stretches arms out as far as he can) Thank you Walks off

(Teachers looks like he has a head ache)

Teacher: Thanks Timmy, Next Steve Swanson

(Teachers stops Steve half way)

Teacher: Plese do well

Steve: I'll try

Steve: Hello ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to enlighten you with the knowledge of the African Bat Now this bat isn't just any bat, unlike others species this bat does not sleep upside down (Teachers is happy and excited and says "YES YES!" quietly to himself but loud enough for the audience to hear him) Unlike most beliefs this bat does not suck blood, this bat is a leaf eater and is more frightened from humans than we are towards it Similar to other bats this species

is nocturnal (Mr Swanson, who is sitting in the audience, walks down to the stage and yells

"STOP STOP", the other students acknoledge him and start waving to him)

Mr Swanson: Wait just a minute, Steve you have a big chunk of dinner on your face

Teacher(Still off to the side): NO!

(Steve's dad licks a napkin and wipes Steve's face)

Steve: Daad!

Mr Swanson: This is my son, Smart kid but clumsy eater

Teacher: That's it you all fail Every one shows over This is the worst one yet I quit(Teacher walks off)

Steve: Daaad why do you always have to do this to me?

Mr Swanson: Do what son?(Both walk off)
