Moving a catalog to another drive or PC does not mean you are moving your images or the Lightroom Classic app).
How to use auto import

1 Move to the Destination or Location spot of the auto-import settings field, and select the Choose button.
2 Move to the Open field for Mac users and Browse for Folders for windows users and move to thedestination you like and perform any of the below options:
To choose a former destination or location folder, click the folder
To create a destination or location folder, select Make New Folder and give write a newname for the folder
3 Select Choose for Mac users and Ok for windows users.
4 An alternative option may need you to enter a name for the destination folder in the subfolder nametext box
Importing photos to a collection needs you to complete the following options:
