The Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management recruits talented

students who meet the university’s desired academic profile; evaluates applications

and credentials of prospective students for timely acceptance; establishes professional

relationships with high school and community college counselors; maintains

relationships with alumni and the community to facilitate recruitment efforts; and

upholds the university’s reputation and image The office’s goal is to market the

university’s academic programs, rich traditions, historical legacy and student life

experiences in a manner that positively benefits enrollment, as well as its national and

international reputation and acclaim

The Office of Housing and Residence Life provides students with an educational

living-learning atmosphere that promotes a successful transition from home to campus

living We strive to create a safe and wholesome environment that is conducive to

The Office of Student Financial Services manages financial aid and scholarship

resources from university, federal, state and private sources Students may be

awarded financial aid in the form of scholarships, fellowships, grants, work study,

and loans These funds are awarded based on eligibility, including financial need,

academic merit, athletic achievement, and/or non-athletic performance measures

Every effort is made to allocate resources to afford as many students as possible the

opportunity to attend and graduate from Tuskegee Office staff also provide financial

aid counseling to parents and students

The Office of the Bursar manages the payment of university-related fees, including

tuition, room and board, by check, money order, and debit/credit card Bursar’s

Office staff members work closely with Admissions and Enrollment Management,

the Registrar’s Office, and Student Financial Services to ensure students are officially

enrolled and have access to necessary university services We strive to provide all

students with exceptional service while abiding by the university’s financial policies

and procedures

The Office of the Registrar provides services to current and former students, employees, and other constituents that include academic records and transcripts requests; Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidance; enrollment verification; registration; transfer credit processing; and graduation clearance

The Office of Student Health Services provides students with primary health care services and encourages the use of preventive methods through health education and counseling Services include medical emergencies; medication and medical supplies;

The Wellness Center helps students achieve their personal and academic goals by helping them to better understand themselves and others and to lead more satisfying

and healthy lives The center offers individual and group counseling for students

who need assistance with or who are experiencing difficulty with personal and social issues, academics, stress management, test anxiety, grief, relationships, sexuality, family concerns, disability accommodations, and veteran’s status

The Tuskegee-Center of Academic Excellence and Innovative Learning (T-CAEIL) provides academic support services to first-year and at-risk students

This annual ceremony is your formal welcome to the Tuskegee Family, where you will receive your official university pin, light the unity candle, and take the pledge to become a true Tuskegee Gentleman and

Tuskegee Woman Our speaker will be Dr Ahkinyala Cobb-Abdullah ’95.

Tuskegee Gentlemen should wear white dress shirts or polo shirts, and black dress pants Tuskegee Women should wear white or black dresses, or combination of blouses, dress pants or skirts in those color combinations Shoes should be “dressy” or “dressy casual,” and should not include flip-flops, slides, gym shoes or the like.
