in Chemistry I understand that in order to achieve departmental honors in Chemistry, I must maintain at least a 3.3 GPA in all of my chemistry (CHM) courses, have performed
at least 1.0 unit of research in the department, complete both semesters of CUE:
Chemistry Seminar, submit an honors thesis at least one week prior to my presentation, make a public presentation of my work, and defend my work to the faculty I understand that I will not automatically be awarded honors just by completing the above steps; my work must be deemed meritorious by the faculty
