3 Visit The Doctor’s Office Urgent Care-Brick
For our students’ convenience, Kean
University Student Health Services
has partnered with The Doctor’s Office
Urgent Care of Brick to provide care for
the students of Kean Ocean This is a full
service urgent care office which provides
many of the same services you would
receive at the Union campus Many of the
services provided may be covered without
an additional charge to the students of Kean
Ocean (with appropriate referral from Kean
Student Health Services and your Kean ID)

be obtained by speaking to a provider at

Immunization & Insurance
Immunizations Requirements Requirements for all students: MMR
All students born after December 31, 1956; must submit proof of two measles vaccines, one mumps vaccine and one rubella vaccine (MMR), all administered after your first birthday and after 12/31/67 The two measles vaccines must have been administered at least one month apart
Requirements for students taking 12 or more credits: Hepatitis B
All new students taking 12 or more credits; must submit proof of the three dose
Hepatitis B series (or a two-dose adult series
as noted by the physician)
If your records are unavailable you can take
a blood test (Antibodies IgG for MMR or Surface Antibody for Hepatitis B) to prove immunity A copy of the laboratory report
is required Submit all vaccine records to: hsrecords@kean.edu
