Below 65 =F Cumulative averages are weighted in favor of Interna-tional Baccalaureate, Ad-vanced Placement, and Hon-ors Courses However, grades on the transcript are the grades earned in academic courses and do not reflect weighting Physical Educa-tion is factored into the GPA Rank In Class Students are grouped into Regents and honors level clas-ses in English, Social Studies, Math, and Science Some students are accelerated, earn-ing their first units of credit in eighth grade Students are ranked, at the end of each semester, from June of their junior year through February of their senior year Cumulative grade point averages are weighted using the following formula: Honors courses 1.04, AP/IB-SL courses 1.06, and IB-HL courses 1.08 All grades are in percentages Advanced Placement Re-sults In May 2018, students took 185 exams in 13 different sub-jects Sixty-Four percent of exams scored received a score of 3 or better All students who take AP courses are re-quired to take an exam International Baccalaureate Over 50% of our juniors and seniors are enrolled in at least one IB or AP Course In May 2018, 122 students took 269 exams in 15 different subjects Ninety-Nine percent of our full diploma candidates have successfully completed the diploma, compared to 69% in NYS and 79% world wide Student percentage scoring 4 or better on IB exams: Red Hook 90+%

Extra Curricular Activities Red Hook High School offers a full range of athletic and ex-tra-curricular activities, includ-ing interscholastic teams in field hockey, football, soccer, cross-country, volleyball, bas-ketball, golf, wrestling, base-ball, softbase-ball, and track Stu-dents have the opportunity to participate in student govern-ment, debate team, mock trial, school newspaper, yearbook, as well as numerous other non-athletic activities Red Hook has an International Club, Robotics Club, Interact Club, Drama Club, and sever-al other common interest or-ganizations NYS Regents Diploma Re-quirements All students will acquire at least 22 units of credit English 4 Units Social Studies 4 Units Mathematics 3 Units Science 3 Units Foreign Lang 1 Unit
