THE SCHOOL

Roseville High School, a public school located 15 miles north of Sacramento, serves students in grades 9-12 The school was founded in 1912 as the first school in the Roseville Joint Union High School District Roseville High School received a full six-year accreditation in 2015 from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and was recently named a U.S News & World Report Silver Medal School Roseville High School is on a four-by-four block schedule which allows students to explore more electives over their four years The school fea-tures a wide variety of AP Courses and opportunities to explore careers through Career Tech-nical Education courses in Media/Journalism, Culinary/Hospitality, Computer Science and Pro-ject Lead the Way Bio Medical and Engineering programs

ENROLLMENT

The student population is approximately 2000 students with a senior class of 416 In the

2015-2016 school year, the racial/ethnic composition consisted of: 59.11% Caucasian, 0.37% Ameri-can Indian or Alaskan, 5.01% Asian, 5.38% Filipino, 4.26% AfriAmeri-can-AmeriAmeri-can, 1.01% Pacific Islander, and 23.43% identify as Hispanic or Latino 1.44% identify with two or more races
