Dear Wabash Scholarship applicant,

Congratula�ons on all you have accomplished, this is an exci�ng juncture in your life! The

Wabash Church family truly values youth that love Jesus and desire to con�nue to seek Him in

all that they do This scholarship’s intent is to support youth who are living the Word in their

pursuit of post-secondary educa�on (at a college, university or trade school)

Eligibility Criteria:

♦ Youth Scholarship: This scholarship of up to $1,000.00 is available to gradua�ng high

school seniors who have been ac�ve in Wabash Church and will be atending post-secondary educa�on (at a college, university or trade school) Mission work does not qualify as a trade school Individuals must meet this criteria in order to be considered for this scholarship If the applicant is applying for a scholarship from any other Wabash commitee, this informa�on must be disclosed on the applica�on

♦ Provide materials for a complete applica�on package as stated below

Eligible applicants must provide an applica�on package consis�ng of the following:

1) All items on the applica�on must be completed (typed or in blue or black ink), to include

an essay and Federal School Code

2) At least 2 leters of recommenda�on are required One recommenda�on must be from

the applicant’s academic background and one reference must be non-academic Leters from family members and the Wabash Director of Youth Ministries will not be accepted

Leters of recommenda�on must be received sealed

3) For financial need to be considered, applicants must submit their Student Aid Report

indica�ng the applicant’s Expected Family Contribu�on (EFC)

Applications must meet a minimum scoring criterion to be considered for award Quality of

the application submitted will factor in to the scoring

1 will result in ineligibility for the scholarship unless approved otherwise by the scholarship

commitee for outstanding circumstances Mail or deliver the applica�on package to the

Those selected to be awarded this scholarship will be no�fied in June Awarded scholarship

funds will be paid directly by Wabash Church to the scholarship recipient’s ins�tu�on for the

first quarter/semester’s tui�on
