What Faculty are Saying About RSO
Thomas Moore, PhD
Professor of Physics
Department of Physics, Rollins College
“ RSO provides me with a fast and easy way
to make my scholarship accessible to a wide audience It would be unlikely for anyone outside my research field to have access to my articles without paying, but RSO allows anyone
to download and read them Because of RSO I often receive emails from people who have found
my work online but are not part of my research community.”
”
Marc Fetscherin, PhD
Associate Professor of International Business and Marketing
Department of Business, Rollins College
“ RSO is a great outlet to disseminate your research and build your reputation as a researcher In fact, there are more downloads of my research in RSO than any other scholarly repository In addition, RSO’s ‘Author’s Dashboard’ allows me to see who downloaded my papers, which papers have been downloaded the most, and how researchers find
my research online.”
”
From researching ecosystems to writing film
scores, the academic community at Rollins has a
lot to contribute Rollins Scholarship Online (RSO)
makes it easy for researchers and artists, teachers
and students, and individuals of all disciplines to
preserve and share both scholarly and creative
works Whether you’re a new student or a
seasoned scholar, your ideas can be accessible
to the worldwide academic community through RSO
Julian C Chambliss, PhD
Associate Professor of History
Department of History, Rollins College
“ RSO allows me the opportunity to share scholarly insight with academic peers…and the repository’s superior SEO insures my work can be found by interested general readers.”
”
Tonia L Warnecke, PhD
Associate Professor of Business
Department of Business, Rollins College
“RSO is also a terrific way to showcase student-faculty collaborative research; access via RSO led
to the selection of one of my student-coauthored publications for reprint, in addition to interviews with international magazines and reference in blogs This can be highly impactful for not just faculty, but also students applying to graduate school and interviewing for jobs.”
