UAMS Department of Dental Hygiene Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene

Revised April 2019

The Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree requires a minimum of 120 semester credits (SC) of coursework: 45 SC of

general education core & program perquisites; 69 program semester credits; and an additional 6 SC upper level electives

Prerequisite Courses:

For first consideration, all application materials should be received by March 1 All application materials should be received by June

1 to be considered for the regular’s admission cycle Late application may not be reviewed after this date
