Currently Enrolled In a Fulton County School
Welcome to Hopewell Middle School! To ensure the safety of our staff,
prospective students, and their families, all pre-registrations for the 2020-2021 school year will be conducted via email We have provided the following
instructions to guide you through the registration process We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we work together to ensure your student(s) are
enrolled and the proper placement is made to ensure their success
Step 1: Complete the On-line Registration (OLR) form located on the Fulton County Schools website:
Go to www.fultonschools.org
Select "Students and Families" from the green menu bar across the top pf the page Next, Select "Enrolling Your Student" in the maroon colored box
In the bottom Right section you will see a circle with a link under it to the
on-line registration form Click on the link
That will take you to a page where you will select the language Select the language most comfortable for you This will take you to a short form which you will
complete Then click on the blue "Begin Registration" button You will receive an email with instructions to complete the rest of the registration form
Upload your student’s Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Immunization Record (GA Form 3231), Vision Hearing and Dental Screening Certificate (GA Form 3300), and 2 proofs of residency You will prompted to upload these documents as you complete the on-line registration form If you are unable to provide a GA Form 3231 or GA Form
3300, your student will be provisionally enrolled These medical forms must be
provided within 30 days of the start of school to remain enrolled
* One proof must be a current (within the last 30 days) copy of your water or electric bill
or a letter from your service provider stating you have applied for service The letter must include your name and address The second proof of residency must be from the following list and contain your name and Alpharetta/Milton address: valid Driver’s License or State ID with your current address, copy of home sale contract, current bank statement, current paycheck, current HOA bill, current apartment/house lease,
homeowner’s or renter’s insurance registration card or Section Eight/HUD contract After the OLR form is complete and submitted, you will receive an email confirming the On-Line Registration Application Number Please make a note of this number
Trang 2Step 2: Complete the Hopewell Middle School Registration Packet Please note, parent and
student signatures are required on some of the forms Click HERE to download the
registration packet
Step 3: After you receive the OLR Application number, please email the Hopewell Middle School Data Clerk, Debbie Shirley at shirley@fultonschools.org Provide your student’s name, grade and OLR Application number Attach the completed HMS Registration Packet, referenced in Step 2, to your email
Step 4: Ms Shirley will review your on-line application, the required documents and the registration packet She will reach out to you to finalize the enrollment process
Step 5: The Assistant Principal for your student’s grade level will contact you to discuss your child’s placement and schedule He or she will answer any questions you have related to our
curriculum and academic programs If you have students in multiple grades, you may be
contacted by more than one Assistant Principal
During the summer months, we may not receive records from your student’s previous school
in a timely fashion Please feel free to share your student’s most recent report card and other placement information with the Assistant Principal
Hopewell Middle School Registration for Students
Transferring From A Fulton County School
Step 1: Please contact your current school to advise the Registrar or Data Clerk that you are not returning for the 2020/21 school year
Step 2: Complete an In-system Transfer through the parent portal Click HERE for
instructions
If you do not have a parent portal account, the Data Clerk at your current school can assist you in setting up an account
Upload your two proofs of residency and parent identification in the on-line
registration form you will create as part of the in-system transfer
One proof must be a current copy of your water or electric bill or a letter from your service provider stating you have applied for service The letter must include your name

Step 3: Please email Ms Debbie Shirley, HMS Data Clerk, at shirley@fultonschools.org to advise her that you have completed the in-system transfer for your student Please provide your student’s name, grade, birthdate and name of the school from which they are
transferring
Rising 6th Grade Students Advancing from HMS Feeder
Elementary Schools
Rising 6th Grade Students advancing from feeder elementary schools are NOT required to register or complete an in-system transfer (unless you were not previously zoned for HMS and are moving into the HMS school zone) You will be required to provide 2 proofs of
residency within 30 days of the start of the new school year
