Schoolblazer will provide all ‘core day’ uniform When you login you will be able to create a profile for each child; the website will then clearly show by year group which items are compulsory and which are optional
The Sport/PE Kit remains unchanged and should be worn in full It is now available directly from Gilbert

New Uniform Requirements
The above sets out the expected dress code for boys and girls The school is also supportive of those pupils who wish to make a thoughtful and considered choice about the uniform worn at school in relation to their gender identity Choices regarding uniform would be made with parental consent and with the Headmaster’s approval Whilst this may not affect many pupils, we believe it is the right course of action to support those individuals for whom this is a significant matter

Important information during transition period:
A combination of uniforms cannot be worn; students must be dressed in the new uniform or the old uniform in its entirety
To clarify, this means:
1 If boys are wearing the new charcoal trouser they must wear the new ‘all school’ tie If boys are wearing the old black trouser they must wear the House tie
2 If girls are wearing the new skirt or trousers they must wear the revere collar blouse If girls are wearing the old skirt they must remain wearing a collared blouse and House tie
3 Old school black pullovers can only be worn with the old uniform, new burgundy pullovers should be worn with the new uniform

We need to purchase new school trousers, but my son’s ‘old style’ blazer still fits, what colour trousers should I buy?
If you son is remaining in the ’old style’ blazer then they are choosing to remain in the old uniform therefore he should wear the old uniform in its
entirety—complete with houses tie and black trousers
Can my daughter wear an old style kilt with an open revere collar blouse?
No We are asking that students wear either the old uniform or the new uniform in its entirety They can continue to wear the collared shirt and house tie until September 2022
My child needs a new blazer but they fit in their black trousers/old style kilt, what do we do?
They would need to wear the new uniform in its entirety by purchasing a new style kilt or charcoal trousers Or alternatively you could look at the option
to source a pre-loved Blazer from our FOWG Pre-loved facility to wear next Academic year
My child is going into Y10 (September 2021) so will only have one year of having to wear the new uniform and their current uniform fits?
As per our table on the previous page, the current Year 9 group will not have to wear the new uniform as it will only be compulsory for one year; their Y11 They can therefore choose to wear the ‘old’ uniform or ‘new’ uniform in its entirety in Y10 & Y11
What can I do with any ‘old’ uniform that my child has grown out of or that is spare as I am purchasing the ‘new’ uniform?
Clean pre-loved uniform can be left at The Grove Reception where it will be collected by FOWG who run our pre-loved Uniform facility They can be

Girls can choose to wear the new trouser option as ‘new’ uniform Only school regulation charcoal trousers purchased from Schoolblazer should be purchased
Can my child wear the old black pullover with either uniform?
No The ‘old’ black pullover can only be worn if the student is wearing the ‘old’ uniform in its entirety If they are wearing the ‘new’ uniform the new burgundy v neck pullover must be worn
