Skidmore is a highly ranked, residential, liberal arts college of

2,500 students situated on 1,000 acres of natural beauty in

Saratoga Springs, New York.

Location: Saratoga Springs, New York, a cosmopolitan

city of 30,000 located 30 minutes from Albany, the state

capital, and just three hours from New York City, Boston,

and Montreal

Founded: 1903; became a four-year, liberal arts

college in 1922

Program: four-year private, nondenominational,

coeducational, liberal arts

visa questions, internship and employment opportunities in the U.S.,

STANDARDIZED TESTING

Skidmore College requires applicants to submit SAT I

or ACT scores if English is not their first language and

they have not attended a high school for at least three

years where English is the only language of instruction

The TOEFL (96 minimum) or IELTS (7.0 minimum) is also

required if English is not the applicant's first language

Applicants who have attended a high school for at

least three years where English is the only language

of instruction or are enrolled in an IB diploma program

can have this TOEFL/IELTS requirement waived
