We chose the Special Olympics Texas

While researching your organization we found that much of your funding comes from grants There were many grants we think you could easily qualify for but have not yet received We used foundatingcenter.org, a website that we have access to through Texas Tech’s library, to research possible grants we feel you should apply for

We used your mission statement and some of the current projects you are working on, such as your Fan-Tastic Building Campaign and Torch Run, as criteria for our grant research In other words, we matched up what you are doing with what grant makers are looking for These are grants you will not waste your time applying for

To save you as much time as possible we extensively researched these specific grants and created detailed instructions for application You can practically use this report You can pass this report on to whoever writes your grant applications and they can efficiently and quickly apply for grants that you have a very high chance of receiving

We have include four grants After extensive research we feel these four give you the best opportunity at success They are the John M O’Quinn Foundation, the George

B Page Foundation, the Allen Lovelace Moore and Blanche Davis Moore Foundation, and the Rees-Jones Foundation

These grants give an average of around $5,000-$10,000 each, but have been known to give in excess of $50,000

We have selected the John M O’Quinn Foundation as a possible grant Special Olympics Texas could apply for because of what the foundation largely supports The John M O’Quinn Foundation funds non-profit organizations that support education, healthcare, and underprivileged youth and has also primarily given to organizations involved with mental health The following subject fields of interest aligned our search for possible grants with Special Olympics Texas:
