Essential Functions - Must contribute to the Department of Supply Chain Management's mission in the areas
of research, teaching, and service through publishing in top-tier journals, providing instruction at the
undergraduate, masters and doctorate levels, and supporting school programs and student services
Required Qualifications - For appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor: a doctorate degree in supply
chain management or closely related field prior to start of employment and a record of scholarship as evidenced
by capability to perform research and teaching; for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor: a doctorate
degree in supply chain management or closely related field and a record of demonstrated research and
teaching excellence appropriate to rank; for appointment at the rank of Professor: a doctorate degree in supply
chain management or closely related field and a record of demonstrated research, teaching, and leadership excellence appropriate to rank
Desired Qualifications - Expertise and experience in logistics (transportation, distribution, warehousing,
inventory), sourcing, supply management, and service operations Demonstrated excellence in research, in teaching, and in service to the institution and to the profession as appropriate to rank
