With more than 30 years of concentrated experience, Renda has developed considerable expertise in supporting enterprising individuals in tax and financial management Two focal points are creating and preserving wealth from the entrepreneurial process and supporting wealthy families in coordinating financial services Her firm provides “back office” functions
to multiple family offices She focuses especially on the individual estate management process and related areas including the harvesting of returns from the privately-owned businesses, succession planning, personal goal setting and charitable planning

Dr Jerry W Askew is Senior Vice President for External Affairs for Mercy Health Partners Prior to joining
Mercy in 2001, he served as President and CEO of the East Tennessee Foundation
Jerry’s career in Knoxville began in 1985 when he was appointed Dean of Students at the University of
Tennessee He went on to serve as Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Affairs while
holding faculty appointments in the Leadership Studies and University Honors departments Jerry received
his BA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar, his MS from
the University of Memphis and his PhD from Ohio State
Jerry has been extremely active since his arrival in Knoxville, serving on the boards of over 30 different
non-profit organizations at the local, state and national levels
Jerry and his wife, Robyn, a lawyer and commercial real estate developer, have two children—son, Taylor
(20), a junior Tennessee Tech, and daughter Avery (16), a junior at the Webb School The Askews are
active members of St John’s Episcopal Cathedral where Jerry serves as a lay minister in the Cathedral’s
healing ministry

Tim McLemore graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law and was selected to be a member of the Order of the Coif, and on the editorial board
of the Tennessee Law Review Tim has been a practicing attorney with Gentry Tipton &
McLemore, P.C since 1986 and has been President of the firm since 2000.
Mr McLemore also earned a post-graduate law degree (LL.M) in Taxation from New York

He serves on the National Advisory Council of Maryville College, the Board of Directors of Second
