Introduction
Thanks for purchasing this report and congratulations because you’ve taken a huge step in
guaranteeing the success of your next WSO and the future of your online business
While this report is specifically on how to run a successful WSO, the profits you earn from the WSO are not the end all and be all In fact, they’re just the beginning
Using the strategies found in this report you’ll be able to grow your email list by leaps and
bounds, JV with other successful marketers, create recurring streams of online income and
experience more success than you’ve ever imagined
I first happened across the Warrior Forum for the first time about 3 years ago I was searching for some information on a particular topic and a post on the Warrior Forum showed up in my search results
I read the information in the post and continued on with my research I thought the Warrior Forum
it was just another internet marketing forum Boy was I wrong
This happened several times over the next two years where I found myself on the Warrior Forum, read the information I came for, then moved on I never bothered to look at anything else or even considered signing up to become a member I was busy with my business and my life and didn’t want to get caught up participating on a forum wasting time
Just over a year ago, I came across the Warrior Forum again For some reason this time, I
decided to do a search of the forum to see what other relevant information I could find I quickly found out that to do a search, you need to be a member, so I signed up and performed a search Ever since that moment, I was hooked
Trang 6I’ve probably spent hundreds of hours on the forum since that time, but not a second of it was wasted I had no idea how much good information there was available and what a tight
community the Warrior Forum was
In the main Warrior discussion there’s a post about how the WARRIOR FORUM can make you
$50,000 or more
Well, in the last year since I joined the Warrior Forum, that has become a reality In fact I’ve made much more than $50K as a direct result of being a member of the forum Some of it’s been from WSO’s and some of it’s been from just being an active member of the community
I live pretty comfortably and do pretty well online, but I hate to think of how much better I would have been doing had I joined the Warrior Forum the first time I visited it The relationships you can form The friends you can make And the extra money you can earn as a result is huge
Anyways, after joining the forum, I quickly discovered that putting up a WSO is perhaps one of the easiest and most surefire ways to generate a lot of cash in as little as 24hrs And you don’t need a website, you don’t need traffic, you don’t even need a list, but you do need to have a product or service to sell And if you don’t have one, you can create one
In the last year, I’ve gained a lot of valuable insights, tips, strategies and techniques that anyone can use to create a full time incomes as a result of the Warrior Forum and Warrior Special Offers
Trang 7-
What’s A WSO?
If you’re not familiar with the Warrior Forum, it’s one busiest and best online marketing forums on the internet It’s a great place to find out what people are talking about, learn about what’s new in internet marketing and to meet like minded individuals
Everyone from the big boys like Willie Crawford, Mike Filsaime, The Rich Jerk, Dr Mani, Frank Kern, Marlon Sanders, Alice Seba and Russell Brunson (you get the point) to the average Joe looking to better his or her lifestyle are hanging out there
If you’re into internet marketing in any way, shape or form, there is no better resource community than the Warrior Forum – if you’re not yet a member, head over to www.WarriorForum.com/forum
and sign up for an account ASAP
Many marketers who are now considered to be big names in the internet marketing field launched their careers there Without exaggerating even a little bit, millions of dollars of money had been made because of the Warrior Forum
The Warrior Forum has a special section called Warrior Special Offers (WSO’s) where members can offer their products or services to other members at a special price
The WSO section of the Warrior Forum has become a great place for many marketers to launch a new product or service to gain valuable feedback, testimonials, product reviews, and get
pre-a generpre-al feeling for the success it would hpre-ave in the mpre-arket
It’s also a great place to pick up products and services at discounted prices, or grab a product during it’s pre-launch before it’s available to the general public
Trang 8Simply put, the WSO section of the Warrior Forum connects you with eager buyers and is one of the easiest ways to make money on the internet, period
There’s also a new part of the Warrior Forum called Warrior Offers which is often confused with Warrior Special Offers The difference between them is that the Warriors Offers (WO’s) section is essentially a marketplace where you can list your information products at any price, even if it’s the same price you sell it for on your website
There is no approval needed to put up a WO and no listing fee, though a percentage of every sale (20%) goes to the forum owner, Allen Says
I’ll get more into the rules of posting and running a WSO in a bit, but the two big ones are that the product you’re offering must be of your own creation (no PLR) and you must offer up a deal which isn’t available to the general public Usually it entails a combination of a lower or discounted price and additional ‘value added’ bonuses
To put up a WSO, you’ll need to submit your offer to the Warrior Special Offers section of the forum and wait for it to be approved by a moderator Once it’s approved you’ll get a automatic PM (Private Message) with the subject “Automated: Payment Options for your WSO,” that contains payment information, you pay a $20 listing fee for it to go live, then sit back and bask in the sales The reason for the $20 fee is because a lot of people started spamming the WSO section with all kinds of crap which needed to be moderated, and that takes time, so a $20 listing fee was added
$20 is a small enough amount that it shouldn’t hold anyone back from putting up a WSO, but it’s large enough to convince people not to put up something spammy or against the rules
How much can you make with a WSO? Some people make nothing, while others have made over
$30,000 in just a few hours If you follow the advice ands strategies in this report, you can easily earn multiples of 4 figures
I’ve earned thousands and thousands of dollars because of the WSO section of the Warrior
Forum, and it’s some of the easiest money I’ve ever made Along the way, I’ve learned all kinds
of things that practically guarantee success, and that’s what I’ll share with you in the rest of this report
PS: If you’re not currently a member of the Warrior Forum, sign up and start providing helpful
information and interacting with other members while building your post count Aim to achieve a minimum of 5 posts or more per day
It would also be beneficial to both you and the current members if you started your own thread providing some helpful ‘inside information,’ that you know about that’s not such common
knowledge Remember you need to give, give, give first before you can take
Trang 9And promise yourself, that from this point on, you’ll continue to be an active member of the
Warrior Forum community for as long as you’re planning to use the internet to make money It’s the best free, online community resource for internet marketers, bar none
Since we have established that WSO forum is the world’s easiest place to make money, how do you do it? Well, keep reading, because that’s what the rest of this special report is about
Trang 10-
WSO Rules, Regulations & More
At any given time, in the main section of the Warrior Forum, you’ll see someone asking why their WSO was deleted (ie not approved) or how long it takes for it to be approved since it’s been sitting stagnant for a few days
Some people may bitch and complain, some may blame others, while some will denounce the Warrior Forum simply because their WSO’s aren’t being approved
All of these problems can be solved with 3, or maybe 4 words:
READ THE DAMN RULES!
I’ve never put up a WSO that wasn’t approved in less than 24hrs Sometimes it’s taken mere minutes and other times almost a day has gone by But:
I’ve never been questioned
I’ve never been asked for more information
And I’ve never had a WSO not approved
Why? Because I read and followed the rules
There’s always a reason why a WSO isn’t approved, and usually by reading and following the rules, you won’t run into any problems
In case you missed the sticky at the top of the WSO forum, I’ve copied and pasted it below More tips and strategies about posting your WSO will be provided throughout the rest of this report
Trang 11=========================================
RULES: Your Posts Getting Deleted? Updated 1-19-08
Anything going against what is posted below will be deleted
New People Here: The WSO forum is full of great deals and the vast majority of the people are
100% honest People have also made and continue to make small and large fortunes posting their deals in here Even though most Warriors are honest and offer real value, it pays to use common sense here just as it does anywhere else on the Internet
The Rules:
1 All WSO's Must Be Something You Created A Product Of Your Own (A package of ebooks
someone threw together is not considered a product and will be deleted) This is completely self
explanatory and not up for debate If you yourself did not create the product do not post it here
2 A Warrior Special Offer Means The Price You Give Must Be Better Than The Price The Public At Large Can Get (This is not a "buy my product" forum, it is a "Special Offer" forum)
3 Anyone Caught Scamming Members Will Be Deleted From This Forum Entirely (obviously)
4 If By Chance You Do Get Scammed By Someone The Problem Is Between You And Them Not The Forum Not The MOD's And Not The Forum Owner If you get scammed you deal with
the person that scammed you That's just the way it has to be You have zero protection in here just like you have zero protection on the rest of the Internet You can charge back on them, you can sue them or you can post about them all over the Internet Whatever you do is entirely between you and the seller
5 If Your WSO Does Not Get Approved Right Away Please DO NOT Start Emailing The
MOD's Or Posting About It In The Main Forum Sometimes It Takes Time
HINTS:
1 Find a WSO that looks like it went well and use that as a model for yours
2 Give people as much info as they will need to make a decision This helps you, the buyer and
Trang 12Admin
We have recently started charging a fee to post a WSO You can find the details here:
http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/t IC_ID=118939
UPDATED: Anyone caught trying to purposefully harm another persons WSO will be removed from
this forum permanently If you bought the WSO you have a right to comment on it However, if you
have not bought it you have no right to say anything at all about it You have no basis on which to even give an opinion one way or the other
If you think someone is trying to harm your WSO on purpose just PM admin here in the forum
Do You Have Enough Posts?
If you try to post a WSO with only 3 posts to your name it can't be approved WSO's are only for members who contribute to the forum It's not that hard, really Just get involved in some
conversations
We have to delete a lot of great WSO offers because the poster only has 2 or 3 posts It's sad really because some of the offers would sell very well here and provide great value to the members
NEW UPDATE - APRIL 2ND
We will no longer be allowing WSO's for membership sites that buy master rights here and give them
to all their members
Over the last two weeks it seems 10 new membership sites have sprung up for the express purpose of buying all the WSO's with master rights and giving them to their members This will no longer be allowed and all such WSO's will be deleted
NEW UPDATE - January 19, 2008
Re: Bumping your WSO post back to the top
Subject to Allen having re-thought the issue, the following applies:
You may pay another $20 against the original payment notification once your WSO has moved off page 2
Trang 13This will move your WSO back to the top of page 1
If you do this when your WSO is still on page 1 or 2, your WSO post will be deleted without a refund People have mentioned one of the problems is reading through pages of "My transaction no is" or
"Gimme the bonus" etc If you read the "BRIBERY" sticky in the WSO forum, you will note that sellers are prohibited from requiring purchasers post to the thread for ANY reason
The above certainly does not preclude purchasers posting reviews and/or asking questions in the thread, in fact genuine reviews/questions are encouraged
=========================================
BRIBERY TO OBTAIN POSITIVE FEEDBACK UPDATED 26/12
This will eventually be condensed into the rule thread but I wanted it highlighted for a while:
Should it be proven that a member is offering an incentive, such as additional bonuses, extra
discounts, or anything else dependent on the purchaser posting positive feedback/testimonials in the WSO thread the following sanctions will be applied
(i) The WSO will be deleted immediately
(ii) The person offering the WSO will have his/her Warrior user name deleted
Michael
PS This has been discussed with Allen
After discussion with Allen the following has been added as at Dec 26
You may not require people to post to your WSO for ANY reason
The rationale behind this is people are sometimes getting 4 or 5 pages of "gimme my bonus" or
Here's my receipt number' No-ones going to read through all that & so they miss genuine comments
Subject to Allen having re-thought the issue (which I am not aware of)
The following applies
You may pay another $20 against the original payment notification once your WSO has moved off page 2
Trang 14This will move your WSO back to the top of page 1
If you do this when your WSO is still on page 1 or 2 & I catch it I'll delete the WSO with no refund People have mentioned one of the problems is reading through pages of "My transaction no is" or
"Gimme the bonus" This p*sses me off as well, if you read the "BRIBERY" sticky in the WSO forum you will note that sellers are prohibited from requiring purchasers post to the thread for ANY reason
I will also take an extremely dim view of sellers posting stuff like "Sent your WSO John" "All WSO's sent" "Thank you for your order Paul (ol' wangleather)" Hopefully this will reduce the incidence of junk responses just made to increase thread post count
Michael

Source http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=15
Here’s a little more detail on a few of the rules:
One of the first and foremost rules is that you need to be an active and contributing member of the forum You need to give before you can take
To be an active, contributing member means that you didn’t just sign up for membership
yesterday so you could put up a WSO and make money It means that you’ve been actively
helping other members of the community You also need to play by the rules
This is determined by the moderator who reviews your WSO at his or her discretion While there are no set guidelines or minimums you need to meet in order to be approved for a WSO, (like minimum post count or how long you need to be an active member for), there are several things you can do to ensure success
I’ve seen WSO’s that have been approved where the WSO poster has 20 something posts and has only been a member for 2 days On the other side of the coin, I’ve heard of WSO’s that
weren’t approved, when the person’s been a member for over a month, with 100+ posts
However, in general you’re more likely to have your WSO approved with a minimum of 50-100 posts under your belt and to have been a member for at least a few days If you’re signing up as
a new member you can easily rack them up over a few days
Once a WSO is approved, you need to pay a $20 fee to the forum owner Allen Says before it goes live This is not so much so that he can make money, but more to weed out crap offers The second big rule is if you’re selling a product, it needs to be one that you created (or had created, ie outsourced) and that you own PLR or resell rights products aren’t allowed – it needs
Trang 15to be of your own creation
Third, sometimes it may take a day or more for your WSO to be approved, so please don’t bother the moderators if you’re still waiting If your post is still waiting to be reviewed, you’ll see a
“waiting on payment” next to your post in the WSO section If it’s been deleted because it didn’t follow the rules, you won’t see it there at all, so go back, re-read the rules and try again
Note: You must be logged into your account to see your WSO post that is “waiting on payment.”
No one else, save for the admin and moderators will be able to see it until it’s approved and you pay the $20 listing fee
Fourth, the price that you offer your WSO up for must be a special deal for Warriors that isn’t available elsewhere on the internet to the general public That means you can’t offer it for the same price on your website, other websites, other forums or through any other means
The only exception to that rule is that you can send the same offer to your own email list or
subscribers, as they aren’t considered part of the general public
Sometimes it’s not possible to discount something by a significant amount, so you can add
bonuses to it to make the offer more valuable and the pricing more special We’ll talk more about pricing later on
Trang 16-
What To sell – Product vs Service
WSO’s can really be for any product or service as long as it’s something that you created
yourself For that reason, you can’t resell PLR stuff, but you can hire a ghostwriter to create
something for you which you can sell
Products can be digital (ebooks, reports, audio / video downloads) or physical (books, study guides DVD’s / CD’s) in nature, though digital products seem to do the best simply because they quench people’s desire for instant gratification Plus, they’re a usually a lot more profitable than physical products as there are no production or shipping costs
If you’re going to sell a product, in most cases, you’d want to list a WSO for an information
product which can be automatically and digitally delivered through the use of a shopping cart, like
1ShoppingCart or even through PayPal’s built in delivery mechanism
Products you can sell include:
Trang 17Webinars
Teleseminars
How to products
Minisite or website templates
Membership site memberships
AdSense / affiliate templates
Or if you don’t have the time or patience or desire or expertise or experience, to create a product, you can offer up a WSO for a service of some kind
Services can be for anything really Things like:
Directory or search engine submission
Squidoo lens building
Hub page creation
Audio / video production
Or anything else that people are willing to pay for you to do for them
Offering up a service can be great, especially if you don’t enjoy product creation or you need some extra money right away
For example, say you need $500 within the next week and don’t have time to research and create
a product you can simply put up a WSO for a service
Maybe you put up a killer deal on ebook / report ghostwriting, where you’ll offer to write 50 pages
of content for $250 At only $5 per page, that’s a great deal for buyers and you should easily be able to earn your $500, maybe even a few times over
Trang 18While you’ll need to write up a quick sales page, put together a few samples and ideally gather a few testimonials, the entire process should only take you a couple of hours at most
You can set the delivery time at 30 days and then you’ll have the next month to complete the writing
The great thing about putting up a WSO for a service this way, is that you can get paid first before having to do any real work or put in much of an effort Then once the money’s in hand, you can complete the work that needs to be done
One point I wanted to make about offering a service as a WSO, is that they usually won’t sell as well as a product does and your prices need to be very competitive (think low) to sell For
example, lots of people are looking for products on how to make money online, but they’re not looking to shell out a few hundred dollars to have a report written It all depends on the market you’re targeting and how well you target it You’ll also be stuck with some work after the WSO orders come in
Though on the other hand, I’ve seen some WSO’s where the seller does extremely well, but comes away from the WSO with 500 articles that he or she has promised to write in the next 30 days At 17 articles a day, that’s a very long 30 days, and not the way I’d want to spend the next month
Some people outsource this work, which has worked well for many, and screwed others over when the people they outsource to don’t deliver, and they can’t find a timely replacement It’s ruined many reputations this way, which inhibits their credibility and hinders the sales of any future offers
However, if you have a handful or two of time-tested reliable outsourcers, it may be a very viable option for your WSO Another point though, which you may want to consider with outsourcing, is that your profit margins are usually lowered because you need to send part of the proceeds to your outsourcers We’ll talk more about this in a bit
Another benefit of listing a WSO for a service that I almost forgot to mention, is that you can gain
a new client who will use your services over and over For example, if I hire a writer through their WSO and they do a great job at a fair price, why wouldn’t I continue to use them? Same goes for graphic designers, script installers, web designers and any other renewable service
In general, with product creation, you’ll earn a lot more money for the effort you put into it than with selling services With a service, if you’re quick and experienced, you might earn $15 or $25 per hour of time you put in
When creating products that you can sell over and over, this can skyrocket into $100 to $1,000 or more per hour you put in
Trang 19Yes, there are exceptions to every rule and some services will sell better than some products, but
in general a great product will fly off the shelves faster than a great service
Also, when selling products, you need to invest the time and money first and get paid later, and while you can usually earn more by doing it this way it’s not without its risks For example:
What if your product or sales page is a complete flop?
What if there’s no market that’s willing to pay for your product?
What if you get bad reviews and only make a handful of sales?
While that’s an unlikely reality, especially if you follow the information in this report, it’s not an impossibility If it happened to you, you’d be out a lot of time, effort and possibly money if you outsourced anything If a service flops, you’re only out a few hours work at most
That’s why product and target market research are so important

Targeting A Market
As of the time of this writing, there are about 70,000 members of the Warrior Forum which can be broken down into 4 groups of people I’ll call them the Dreamers, Part Timers, Full Timers & the Guru’s for a lack of better terms
Dreamers – 90%
The dreamers make up the largest part of the Warrior Forum and are the people that haven’t made any real money online Many of them have big dreams about making it and are looking for
a quick fix - something that will make them money overnight
They’re the lurkers, the people who troll the forum once in a while living off the success of others, but not having taken any kind of action themselves Often they are the ones that bitch and moan about not making any money online, mostly because they haven’t done anything to make it Most of the dreamers fall into the lower class to lower middle class income brackets and thus don’t have a lot of spare cash to spend on expensive products
These are the people that thrive off the cheap $7 products promising instant riches They
generally buy get rich quick products, not services They’re the ones that fall for the same hype time and time again
The ambitious Dreamer may occasionally purchase something more expensive in the $17 - $27 range with the hopes of eventually taking action and earning some kind of money
If you’re going to target this group, you’re going to want to price your product or service at under
$10 with the hopes of selling in quantity to make a lot of money
Trang 21They are looking for a plan or help simplifying the process so they can increase their part time income, with the goal of eventually earning a full time income from the internet
They don’t buy much in the way of services and try to do most things themselves There is more free time than money in their life
Reports, ebooks, videos, tutorials, group coaching, teleseminars and membership sites are
popular with this crowd
They typically buy products and services in the $10 - $30 range with $17 being a popular price point
Some of the people in this group will occasionally buy more expensive coaching or mentoring to break out of the box and take their business to the next level
Full Timers – 1%
These are the people that have ‘made it’ in internet marketing They don’t have a day job and earn a full time income from internet marketing Some of the people in this group are still living month to month, but earn a healthy income, while others live very, very comfortably
They have their own products, an opt-in email list, multiple websites, and multiple streams of income, likely some of which are recurring They know what works and what doesn’t
They’re not looking to buy quick fixes or solutions that will make them money overnight, but are looking for longer term, viable opportunities to set up another stream of income or automate something
Trang 22People in this group are also looking for service providers to do some of the ‘busy work’ for them Things like article writing, graphic design, website programming, article submission, copyrighting, ebook writing, product creation, niche research, script installations, software and so on
They’re careful with their money, time and what they spend both on, but are willing to plunk down large amounts of change on something that fits with their business model and the stage they’re
Pricing is all over the place for this group While they typically don’t buy much $7 stuff, they will pay $27 or $47 for something that will save them time or money, and when it comes to something like product creation or copyrighting, they’ll gladly invest $500 or $1,000 or more without so much
They don’t buy much and when they do purchase something, they’re unpredictable and there’s no telling what they’ll buy The price doesn’t matter, but the results do
The Guru’s in this category will occasionally buy WSO’s that are for a secretive method which they can multiply to use on a large scale They also like extremely high quality private label rights material
They already have service providers in place for most things and aren’t really looking for any new ones unless you can offer something else that their current providers cannot, and this doesn’t mean lower prices
If there’s something revolutionary that you’ve come up with that will save them time, money, or increase the enjoyment of their life, they’d be an easy sell, but products / services / ideas like that are one in a million
Trang 23Let’s be honest, you’re not going to want to target this group unless you have something that will absolutely change the way they do business, or a one time service that they can use
Who You Should Target
Let’s pretend for a moment that you’ve made up your mind and have decided, based on your experience, expertise and desires, whether you’re going to offer a product or service
The next order of business is deciding which of these 4 groups you want to target: the dreamers, part timers, full timers or the guru’s?
As I’ve already mentioned, you probably don’t want to target the guru’s as they’re harder to sell to (they already know almost everything ☺) and are unpredictable in what they’ll buy
In my honest and personal opinion, you’ll be the most successful targeting the part timers if you are selling a product Here’s why:
If you target the dreamers, you pretty much need to price your offer at $7 or less, therefore to make any real money, you’ll need to sell a lot of quantity
Since this group is primarily made up of people with zero IM experience, you’ll need to make your product fairly basic, which essentially excludes the more experienced part timers and full timers Also, by targeting the part timers, you don’t need to gamble selling a more expensive product to the full timers or guru’s and risk not making any sales at all
By targeting the part timers, you’ll also get some overflow, meaning some of the dreamers and the full timers will also buy your product
But, if you’re selling a service, you’ll likely want to target the full timers Dreamers usually never buy services and part timers try to do most things themselves, so they don’t buy them very often
as well
The full timers are usually a one person operation with some virtual assistants, so they’re looking people to do things for them that they don’t want to do themselves
A full timer doesn’t usually want to do things like submit their site to search engines or write
articles because they can use their time better doing something else They also likely don’t have highly specialized skills like graphic design or advanced copyrighting, so if you offer something similar at a good price, they’ll eat it up
Though, keeping that in mind, if you’re selling a service like coaching or mentoring, you’ll
probably have more luck with the part timers, unless you’re a big name yourself or specialize in a specific area like SEO, membership sites etc
Trang 24I also want to mention that you can be quite successful selling to the dreamers market if you have the right product
Since they make up 90% of the Warrior Forum, if you put together something that will act as an introduction to a specific area of internet marketing, then show them how to make money with it, with minimal effort and time, it can be hugely successful
And if it’s something that’s specialized, it will likely be attractive to many of the part timers as well
For example, my Bum Marketing Report sold a ton of copies to both the dreamers and the part timers
Here’s why: It showed the dreamers a verified and proven method that they could use to make
money online without any experience, list, website or money It took them by the hand and
showed them what to do, where to do it and how to do it Plus it was a red hot topic at the time… and still is
For the part timers who already knew about Bum Marketing, it also went into a lot of advanced strategies which they could use to drive traffic to their websites, earn recurring affiliate
commissions, build a large opt-in email list and brand themselves and build credibility
It also sold a few copies to some of the full timers who were interested in picking up a few tips or learning how to get a bigger bang for their buck
My point is, with the right product, on the right topic, at the right price, you can specifically target one market, but set it up so that it’s still attractive to markets on either side of the market you’re targeting
Trang 25-
What To Sell
If you already have at least one product of your own, take a look at how the current offers on the WSO section of the Warrior Forum are doing and see if yours would be a good fit If you have multiple products, you’ll need to decide which ones to offer or how to package them as a group to make your offer most appealing Same goes if you already provide a service
If you don’t have something to offer, what should you sell?
If you’re just starting out or are new to IM, you probably don’t have the time or even the skills to create a home study course complete with booklets, audio CDs and DVD videos
So what to do?
The easy answer: create a simple but highly effective information product
Information can come in many forms including ebooks, audio CDs, video DVDs, home study guides, special reports and so on Ideally for a WSO, you’ll want to create an information product that can be digitally delivered or downloaded, so you don’t need to waste time and money on physical production and shipping costs and customers don’t need to wait for your product
Simple information products can be created in a relatively small amount time and can be very valuable to the end consumer if they contain good information People will pay good money for something that will teach them how to make more money, show them how to save time, how to lose weight / look better, how to have better / more sex… well you get the picture If you can show someone how to improve their quality of life by tapping into one of the universal needs or wants I just mentioned, they will open their wallets to you
Trang 26Choosing A Topic
Then the first thing you’ll want to do, is look at the current WSO offers and seek out the offers that seem to be doing well The easiest way to determine this is by the reply count of the WSO – in general the more replies it has, the more views it will get, and the more views it gets, the more sales the seller will make, but be sure to check that all the feedback is positive
Some WSO’s also have an indirect running tally of sales, like the price going up by $0.10 per sale, or different bonus levels that have been reached or quantity limits met, that make it easy to calculate the total sales amount both in quantity and dollar value
You can also track the Warriors who frequently post successful WSO’s and see what they do and why it works They’ll know the ins and outs of selling on the Warrior Forum and you can learn some valuable information from them and get some great topic ideas
You should also browse through the main discussion on the Warrior Forum to see what people are having problems with or what they’re asking questions about
The goal here is to find out what’s selling and what people want What are they looking for that you could offer them?
According to a poll done by Kevin Riley on his Squidoo lens at
www.squidoo.com/warriorspecialoffer, here’s what people want to buy as a WSO:
I've found that the products that do well for me as WSO’s are products that reveal solid, easy to implement, cash generating strategies
If you’re targeting the part timers, or even the dreamers, this is exactly what they’re looking for: ways to make some extra money to pay bills, take a vacation, invest into their business or a hobby and so on, so that’s what I give them They just want something simple which they can follow that works
Trang 27I’ve tried a couple other types of products as WSO’s, but they just haven’t done as well, so I stick
to methods that can be used to generate fast cash, or methods that lead to more traffic and
consequently more cash
Another thing I’ve been successful listing WSO’s for is my one on one coaching program, but that’s a different story in itself Even though I might make a lot more per sale, my most successful products have made me a lot more than selling a few coaching spots, though it certainly doesn’t hurt to pick up a few extra clients
I’m not going to go into the specifics of product creation here (that’s coming up soon), however some of the best WSO’s are extremely short (under 5 or 10 pages) yet provide extremely
valuable information that’s easily actionable
Things like how to get your website into the top 5 or 10 in Google in a week, or how to generate
100 extra unique visitors in a day, or a technique to make $100 in 30 minutes are all things you can write about quickly, and more importantly are on topics that sell
Some other hot selling topics on the Warrior Forum are:
1 Web 2.0 Topics (MySpace, Video – YouTube, Squidoo, Social Bookmarking/Networking)
2 Unique traffic generation ideas
3 Step by step money making strategies
4 Blog advertising, optimizing and customizing
5 Search engine stuff (increase PageRank, get backlinks, sneaky SEO etc.)
6 Quick product creation type products
7 Anything on niche marketing
8 Classified advertising (Craigslist, USFreeAds, eBay Classifieds, Kijiji etc.)
9 Yahoo Answers
10 PLR Books, reports and articles
11 Group coaching on specific topics through membership sites, webinars, teleseminars etc
12 $7 Reports
13 Anything to do with list building
14 Simple time saving software products
15 Video tutorials
16 Templates for anything
Trang 28Once you think you have a topic chosen, you need to make doubly sure there is a market for it The simplest and easiest way to determine if there is a market is to go to your favorite search engine and perform a search to see if there are any competitors for your potential product
If there is no one promoting a similar product, there’s probably a good reason why There’s no market for it, or not enough of a market to make it financially feasible It is extremely rare on the internet to find an untapped market, but it is possible – so keep your eyes open
On the other hand, if there are too many competitors it might be hard to make a go of it, so you might want to consider refining your niche, or choosing a new topic altogether
Also, take a look at the current offers on the WSO section of the Warrior Forum and see if anyone else is selling something similar If you can’t find anything you can also browse past WSO’s and judge their success by looking them up on www.WarriorPlus.com/wso
Once you’ve determined that there is a market, you need to find out exactly what they’re looking for You could join a forum in that niche and ask questions, buy your competitors products and rip them apart, or run a survey or contest
How will your product be different then any competitors you might have? What will your USP (unique selling proposition) be? How will it be different? To gain a competitive advantage your product should:
be a personal trainer, write about it, if you used to sell used cars, write a PLR consumer
awareness guide and sell it with full rights
Trang 29Off topic (non IM) PLR stuff doesn’t usually sell quite as well as products on IM topics, but it’s still
a great way to earn some quick cash – and it’s a lot more than you could earn selling individual unique articles or ebooks
Please Note: If you’re new to making money online, please use some common sense and don’t sell a how to make money online product, or you’ll kill your reputation and ultimately achieve failure
The possibilities are really endless, however, there are plenty of WSO’s that don’t make a single sale because the topic’s all wrong or the price is too high, so take some time and care when choosing topics and setting prices If you can, it won’t hurt to get some outside opinions either
A word of caution: Don’t sell yourself short by creating products just to put them up as a WSO
Create products which you can launch as a WSO, but afterwards sell through other means as well
Also, don’t rely on WSO’s as your sole source of online income Allen (Warrior Forum Owner) could discontinue them at any moment or raise the price to $100 or $500 to post, or you could be banned from the forum Anything’s possible, so be prepared
Trang 30-
Packaging Your Product
Packaging is not quite what you might think It’s not the about fancy graphics, or the labels of physical (or virtual) packaging It’s the form you will sell your information in
The reason I’m talking about this before we get into the actual product creation, is because the packaging will influence how you design and create the product
Let me explain: Most people use the internet for one reason, convenience Therefore you need to ensure that you package the information that you have to offer in the most convenient way for them to use it That might be an ebook, a special report, an audio or video download, a software program or multiples thereof
Packaging also includes the length of your product, among other things If you’re writing an ebook
on time management, you’d do very well to ensure that it is as short as possible and by that I mean there’s no fluff or filler
But if you’re designing a product for absolute beginners who know nothing about your topic, you’ll probably want to explain things in a little more detail and have step-by-step instructions so even the absolute newbies can understand
Packaging also refers to the price of your offer We’ll take about this more shortly, so I’ll leave it out here
And finally, packaging does also refer a little to the actual packaging If you’re creating an ebook, have a professionally designed cover for it (it’s been proven to double the sales), if you’re selling
an audio download or special report have some nice corresponding graphics done up Make it look nice and pretty and it will sell better
Trang 31The second most important thing is to make sure the price you’re offering the WSO for is
significantly lower what the average Joe walking off the street could get your product or service for
We’ve already talked about the different groups of people on the Warrior Forum and the group that you choose to target will drastically influence the price you decide to charge
1 If you’re targeting the dreamers, your offer should priced at under $10, preferably in the $7 range or less
2 If you’re targeting the part timers, your offer should priced in the $17 - $27 range
3 If you’re targeting the full timers, the price isn’t really nearly as important as the product or service, however it should fall into the $17 - $997 range
4 And finally, if you’re targeting the guru’s, the price doesn’t really matter at all so long as it’s fair
You ideally want to sell your product for as much as possible while getting as many sales as possible and that price will depend on the group you’re targeting That’s why I mentioned earlier that you’ll most likely want to target the part timers if you’re selling a product and the full timers if you’re selling a service
Trang 32On average, I find the best selling price for a product for both the buyer and seller is $17 It’s enough for sales to add up quickly (6 sales = $102), but it’s also cheap enough that you’ll have some of the dreamers who also buy your product
Plus the $17 price just works for whatever reason People like the number ‘7’ and $7 on its own is not enough to make a lot of money And once you break the $20 barrier it starts to put some people off (the dreamers) because it becomes a little more than pocket change
While there are many successful WSO’s targeting the dreamers for $5 or $7, it takes a long time for small numbers like that to add up to serious cash.100 sales at $5 is only $500, where 100 sales at $17 is $1,700 – almost three and a half times more While you’ll get more sales at a lower price, it won’t make up for the difference between $500 and $1,700
However, if you’re using a script like the $7 script(more on this later) in the hopes that your
product will go viral and you’ll build a huge email list, there’s absolutely no problem with pricing your product at $7 And if you make it good enough and seriously under price it, you’ll also snag a lot of part timers on your list This is a case of list building for future projects vs trying to make a lot of money from your WSO
If you think your product is only worth $7 and you really want to target the part timers, then add to its value You can:
Add to or rework the content
Add more advanced strategies and tips
Include an audio or video of the content
Offer resell, master resell or private label rights
Add relevant bonuses
Because I mostly target the part timers, I usually price my WSO’s in the $17 to $27 range, which
is usually at least 50% or more off the regular selling price that the public can get it for on my website
Also, keep in mind when setting your prices that you don’t need to undercut your competitions prices; you just need to make your offer better than theirs And, when you’re offering a discount off the regular selling price, give a reason for doing so
There are copyrighters on the Warrior Forum who routinely offer sales copy for under $200 with
an unlimited number of spots available And then there are copyrighters who occasionally offer up
a WSO with 2 or 3 spots available at $1,500 each and sell out within hours Who makes more money?
Trang 33The better copyrighters can justify their price and easily get it because of the value they offer in their services and the market they’re targeting And because they’re a better copyrighter than the
$200 person, they can easily justify in their WSO copy what they charge
Finally, don’t take what I’m telling you as gospel The price you choose to sell your product for will depend on many things such as your target market, the quality of the product or service being offered, the type of product / service you’re offering, and your competitors
As I mentioned previously, most of the members of the Warrior Forum are not extremely wealthy and they can’t afford to spend $100 or $200 on an impulse buy
But, on the other hand, sometimes it’s a lot easier to sell a few $200 or $300 products, versus a
100 $7 or $17 products if they’re targeted to the right market that can afford to spend that much money on impulse, especially if it’s something that’s very valuable to them
The most expensive WSO I’ve ever purchased was for $1,000 It took me about 2 minutes to decide to buy it because it exactly fit what I needed at the time and happened to be a great deal
In fact it turned out to be such a good deal that I’ve given that same person $1,000 several times over
Also, I’ll routinely spend $50 or $100 for a WSO without giving it a lot of thought, but check this out: It’s almost always for a service
I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than $30 or $40 for an information product without any type or
RR, MRR or PLR rights
I don’t need more information on how to make money online; but I do need reliable people to help
me with some of the work, whether its article writing, graphic design or any of the other many tasks I routinely outsource
For that reason, more expensive WSO’s tend to be for services and target the full time marketers who either don’t have time to do something themselves, or need someone with a highly
specialized expertise
Upping The Price
Besides the different groups of the Warrior Forum, there are 4 types of WSO buyers
1 The first group makes their decision based on the selling price (primarily the dreamers)
2 The second group makes their decision based on the content of the report or service and doesn’t care what the price is as long as it’s not outrageous (primarily the full timers)
Trang 343 The third group makes their decision based on the feedback received in the WSO thread
as long as the content is something that is of interest to them and the price is reasonable (primarily the part timers)
4 The fourth group makes their decision based on a combination of two or more of the above That’s why starting the price lower and raising it can be so effective
There are a couple benefits of doing this
1 First it creates urgency and gives people a reason to buy right away They don’t want to risk thinking about it, coming back later and having to pay more, so they’ll buy now instead
of later
Also, if people take the time to think about it, studies have show that they’re a lot more likely to decide not to purchase, or they’ll simply forget about it Either way, you’re a lot less likely to get the sale if they don’t buy right away and increasing the price gives them a reason to do so
2 Second, having a lower price makes it easier for the first group, the ones who base their decision based mostly on price, to buy
3 Thirdly, by having more people buy early on, you’ll get more positive feedback, which will make it easier for the third group of people to buy from you It will also attract a lot more people to your WSO thread, thereby increasing the number of sales in a large way
4 And finally, the second group of people doesn’t really care what they pay as long as the content is great Thus, by increasing the price, you’ll be increasing your profit margins and the size of your bank account And that’s a good thing
When it comes to posting the price in your sales copy, just write something like:
For the first 1 – 25 sales the price will be $17
For the next 26 – 50 sales, I will increase it to $19
For the next 51 – 75 sales, I will increase it to $21
For the next 76 – 100 sales, I will increase it to $23
For the next 100+ sales, I will increase it to $25
And increase the price both in the sales copy and your order link when the sales come in
Trang 35-
Product / Service Creation
This is what separates the men from the boys… or the women from the girls
The really serious money on the internet stems from having your own product It might be a
report, membership site, a software product, or anything else that you can call your own
Obviously, if you already have a product that you’ve created, it would be much easier and way less time intensive to simply modify your sales copy, reduce the price of the product and/or add a bonus or two and list it as a WSO
On the same note, if you have a service you provide such as minisite design, you can do the same thing – revise the sales copy, drop the price and put it up as a WSO
However, if you don’t already have a product or service available that you can offer, you have three choices:
1 You can create a new product
2 You can rework, revise, rearrange, redo and update a PLR product that you have the rights to
3 Or you can offer a simple service like report writing or directory submission
Of course option #3 is the easiest of the group to put up a WSO for, but it requires the most work
on the backend, unless you have a competent team of outsourcers that can live up to whatever challenges you throw at them
Trang 36Option #2 isn’t too bad either and can save you a ton of time when compared to creating your own product from scratch because most of the work is already done for you However, keep in mind that the rules of a WSO state that the product which you’re selling must be your own
creation – so you simply can’t take a PLR report, slap your name on it and sell it as your own
But, since you own the rights to a PLR report or ebook, you can take a PLR report and rewrite it keeping the similar content and ideas, but creating a completely unique report that is your own creation
Reworking a report isn’t simply limited to sitting down and rewriting the content In fact, you
shouldn’t do that as it may appear too similar to the original and some of your buyers may simply think you copied another source Instead, rearrange the content, add new content, remove old content, add graphics, freshen it up, move the chapters around, correct any spelling, grammar or factual errors, put your own spin on things and let your passion shine through
If you don’t already own any PLR reports on the topic you choose, you’ll need to find some While you could potentially find something of excellent value being sold as a WSO, it wouldn’t really be ethical to take someone’s product and sell it in the same place as them at the same time Though you could buy it and combine it with the content from several other reports and your own knowledge base
There are also plenty of places to find good PLR stuff like:
Or by just doing a Google search for the type of PLR product you’d like to buy There are
hundreds, if not thousands of products to choose from A quick word of advice though: There are PLR products on sites like eBay that sell for only $0.99 or even $0.01 which may seem like a good deal In many cases they may be, however, when a product is selling for such a cheap price
it usually means that the market has already been saturated which that product These are good
to buy for some extra ideas and information, though the content they contain on their own
probably won’t be sufficient enough
If you don’t have anything of your own, or can’t find anything that you want to rework, then you’ll need to create something from scratch
Trang 37Usually when I create a new product on a particular subject, I like to buy 3 – 4 PLR reports on it, read them, make notes, do some research on the WWW, make notes then combine everything with my own knowledge and experience into a unique product
Even though I mostly create products based on my experiences and results, proper research is still absolutely essential It will separate the great products from the okay ones Any facts need to
be verified and it would be good to find some real world examples or case studies that you can include to add validity Plus, I don’t always think of everything, so it’s good to get some other peoples opinions on the topic, which is why I buy PLR
Once you have a topic, one of the easiest ways to go about creating a product is to write a rough draft of the sales copy for it first I know it seems backwards, but it really does work As you’re writing the sales copy, you’ll get a good idea of exactly what you’ll include in your product which will give you a rough outline when it comes to the creation
Create a timeline or schedule for yourself
How much time will you spend working on it each day?
How much of that time will be research and how much will go into the product creation? When will you write the sales copy?
What will be included and where will it go?
I know this seems like common sense, but create a manageable plan of when you’ll work and what you’ll do and put it in a prominent place – then stick to it like glue If you can afford to spend about an hour a day, you could realistically write a good ebook, and be making money from it in just a couple of weeks
I’m not going to spend any more time here on product creation It’s not something that’s really that hard to do once you have a hot topic, it just takes some time, research and effort to put something great together
Trang 38-
Outsourcing
Outsourcing is great for many things, but product creation is not one of them
Every time I’ve outsourced any type of product creation, I’ve ended up having to put so much work into fixing it up, adding missed info, having it edited, revamping the formatting that it would have almost been easier to just create myself
It doesn’t need to be perfect, but it absolutely needs to over deliver and a ghostwriter just won’t put the same heart and enthusiasm into it that you can yourself Plus they likely don’t have much,
if any experience related to the topic to throw in
I have a reputation to uphold and the quality of almost any affordable outsourced product is just not good enough for a serious product
I outsource many aspects of my business such as article writing, graphic design, article
submission, copyrighting, programming, other tech stuff and so on, but I no longer outsource product creation Sometimes I’ll outsource some of the research, and I outsource the editing, sales copy, and graphic design, but I always write every single word of the content myself
One of the other reasons you’ll want to consider creating the product yourself, is that it’s essential that you have also used, tested and experienced the information in your product Whether you’re selling a strategy to earn $50 a day with AdSense, or drive 100 new visitors a day to your
website, it should be something that you have done yourself more than once and is repeatable by other people following the information in your report
I remember a WSO that one Warrior put up that had to do with making money on Craigslist
Trang 39Someone asked him if he had used the techniques in the report to make money on Craigslist and
if he had any proof that it worked
His reply was: “No I haven’t used them, but I’m sure they’d work as I paid someone $200 to write this report for me.”
Can you see the problem with that? This guy, obviously with very little IM experience, was selling
a product that he had not created himself, on a technique that he had not used himself, and that
he had no proof of its success
The two people that did purchase it immediately asked for a refund
If you’re selling a method, or a system that is supposed to produce a certain desired result, then you need to have used it yourself and be able to show that it works If you have someone else write the report for you, unless you’re standing over their shoulder telling them what to write, it’s not going to share your experiences
Another reason you might not want to outsource, is because it’s an easy way to lose money and it definitely cuts down on profits Say that you outsourced a $500 product, but only sold 10 copies
at $25 each… you’re out $250 Had you created the product yourself, you’re out a bunch of time, but no money save for the $20 WSO fee On a similar note, if you spend $500 for a 50 page report, put it up as a WSO and earn $750, your profit is only $250, not the $750 you could have earned had you created the product yourself
As I’ve said before, there are exceptions to very rule There are some people who successfully outsource their product creation, but most often they are already making a good full time living online and know what’s hot, what’s going to sell and how to go about outsourcing for it They also can afford to lose a little money in the unlikely event that the product flops
My recommendation, create the first few products yourself, and after that you might want to
consider outsourcing some of the work or the product creation itself when you have a better feel for the game and some extra money to invest
But, if you’re providing a service such as article writing, directory submission or anything else that can be easily outsourced and doesn’t require a ton of specialized skill you’ll definitely want to consider outsourcing
If you’re selling something like directory submission, you can find a provider that will do it for $25 for 250 links, then resell it for $40 as a WSO You’d simply be the middleman and earn a $15 commission for hooking people up
On the same note, you can hire an article writer or two who write good quality 500 word articles for $5 each, then put up a WSO for article writing at $10 a pop You simply pass the work along to the freelancer, have them do it, get the articles back, edit them and send them to the purchaser
Trang 40Here are some tips for hiring freelancers:
1 Be sure to get writing samples from anyone before hiring them… and testimonials are good too If you’re going after something like directory submission, have them do it for you and check the results
2 Use an online contract which clearly spells out the terms and conditions of the project, including the details of the work to be completed, completion dates, number of revisions included if applicable and the payment terms
3 Ensure it’s understood with the person you’re hiring that you own the copyright to the completed work, which you will eventually pass along to the person who hired you through the WSO
4 Never pay anyone fully in advance, even if you’ve used them before It’s too easy to take money and run and get burned in the process
5 This is just my personal preference, but I usually only hire writers from English speaking countries because they, on average, are likely to do a better job Not to say there aren’t good writers from other countries… there are, but they’re just much harder to come by
6 When using freelance sites like elance.com or rentacoder.com, put in the title of the project you’re posting “For New Providers Only,” and say that in return for completing the project
at a discounted rate, you’ll give them good feedback and / or a great testimonial This also helps to make sure that they do an above average job
7 I like to pay people with Paypal as it offers some buyer protection Many people will want a deposit, especially for larger projects Sometimes I’ll give them one and if they fail to hold
up their end of the contract, most of the time filing a dispute at Paypal will get you your money back
