vibrates; He infuses His almighty power

demons of desire, and slay Death, the

torturer

are so many joys!

No one knows Your limits O Highest of the High, Most Generous God,

The whole creation is strung on Your thread That which has come from

You is under Your Command.

You alone know Your state and extent Nanak, Your slave, is forever a

There is one God All Victory belongs to God

May the Divine Sword (dynamic power of God) help us The Vaar (poetic verse) of Sri Bhagauti, composed by the tenth king.

First meditate upon the respected Lord and

think about Guru Nanak Ji.

Then meditate on Guru Angad Ji, Guru Amar Das Ji and Guru Ram Daas Ji – may they

help us everywhere.

Then call on Arjan, and Har Gobind, holy Har Rai and on Har Krishan, whose sight dispels

Let us now turn our thoughts to the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib, the visible embodiment of the ten Gurus and utter, O Khalsa Ji, Vaheguru (glory be to God).

Think and remember those brave men and women who laid down their lives in the cause of dharam, who got their bodies chopped bit by bit, their scalps

removed, who were tied on rotating wheels and crushed into pieces; who were sawn alive; those who sacrificed themselves to upkeep the dignity of

the Gurdwaras;

Those who did not betray the Sikh faith; kept their Sikh faith with their sacred Kes up to their last

ardaas hai jee…[purpose of the

Forgive us O Lord, all our faults, extend Your

helping hand to everyone Grant us the company of those who may help keep Your Name fresh in our

The Khalsa belongs to God and to Him the victory,

The Sikh people shall remain free and sovereign, always, non-challenging this position For, all shall

realise, after bitter frustration, that there is no
