DALAT

The name Da Lat, which means the land near the water, comes from the word “Đạ” meaning water and “Lạt” meaning tribe life. Historically, Da Lat was known to be a resort with a pleasant climate situated on the high Langbiang Plateau and was discovered by the French bacteriologist Dr. Yersin, who came to the area with his expedition team in 1893. Other names given to Da Lat such as “City of myriad pine”, “ Flower City” or "City of Eternal Spring”.

The green scenery all around Da Lat turns to light brown at the end of the sunny season, and the temperature becomes mild.
