In the second part of the questionnaire, the teachers were asked to respond to a list of the advantages of online English language teaching. The information on the perceptions of the advantages of online English language teaching is presented in Table 4.2.

Based on Table 4.1, it can be seen that in the first statement, the answers are in strong disagree (D) with a total of 7 teachers or with a presentation of 13.7%, then the answer disagrees (D) has a presentation of 29.4%, neutral (N) has a respondent with the presentation of 19.6%, agree (A) has a respondent with the presentation of 27.5%.Furthermore, for the answer of strong agree (SA), one respondent has a presentation of 9.8 %. On average the mean for this statement is 2.90. From these results, it can be concluded that the teachers answered agree and strong agree statements with the presentation of 37,3%. This conclusion is supported by research by (Xu and Jaggars, 2016), who found that classroom instruction is a tried-and-true instructional method whose structure and style have been improved over many centuries. There are many advantages of in-person learning over internet learning.

The second statement the answer is in strong disagree (SD) which has 6 respondents with a presentation of 11.8% and disagree (D) has a percentage of 43.1% or 22 respondents Furthermore, the answer of neutral (N) has one respondent with 12 presentations of 23.5%, the answer of agree (A) has a percentage of 21.6% or 11 respondents, no one has the answer for strongly agree.

Therefore, from the result, it can be concluded that respondents agreed online teaching is effective during pandemic. Only 21.6% of the teachers concur that

online teaching media makes learning effective. On average the mean for this statement is 2.54. The online learning process in a pandemic like the one we are currently experiencing requires teachers to be more proactive in upgrading and developing their capacity to use media. online education in order to improve teachers' motivation and learning outcomes, interactive learning material should be used (N. et al., 2020).

In the third statement, the answer is in strong disagree (SD) which has 5 respondents with a presentation of 9.8%, for the answer of disagree (D) has a percentage of 3.9%. Furthermore, the answer for neutral (N) has 4 respondents with a presentation of 7.8%, the answer for agree (A) has 32 respondents with a presentation of 63.0%, and strongly disagree (SA) has 8 presentations of 15.7%.

On average the mean for this statement is 3.70. Therefore, from the result it can be concluded that the respondents agree the online teaching media is easy to be competent.

In the fourth statement, the most answer in disagree (D) which has 7 respondents with a presentation of 13.7%, for the answer of strongly agree (SA) has a percentage of 5.9%. Furthermore, the answer of agree (A) has 25 respondents with a presentation of 49%, the answer for agree (D) and strongly disagree (SD) has a presentation of 54.9%, and the answer of neutral (N) has 10 respondents with the presentation of 19.6%. On average the mean for this statement is 3.21.

In the fifteenth statement, the answer is in strong disagree (SD) which has 11 respondents with a presentation of 21.6%, for the answer of disagree (D) has a percentage of 5.9%. Furthermore, the answer for neutral (N) has 10 respondents with a presentation of 19.6%, the answer for agreeing (A) has 26 respondents with a presentation of 50.9%, and strongly disagree (SA) has a presentation of 2.0%. On average the mean for this statement is 3.21.

The sixth statement, the answer is in strong disagree (SD) which has 4 respondents with a presentation of 7.8%, and disagree has 11 respondent (D) with a presentation of 21.6%. The answer of neutral (N) has four respondents with a presentation of 9.8%, the answer of agree (A) has a percentage of 64.7% or 33 respondents, the answer for strong agree (SA) has 8 respondents with a presentation of 15.7%. Therefore, from the result, it can be concluded that 80.4%

respondents agree online teaching can save costs. On average the mean for this statement is 4.17.

The seventh statement, the most answer is in agree (A) which has 31 respondents with a presentation of 60.8%. Furthermore, for the answer of strongly agree it has 3 respondents with a presentation of 5.9%. Neutral has 8 respondents (15.7%). The answer for disagreeing and strongly disagree have 9 respondents (17.6%). Thus, from the result above it can be concluded that 66.7%

respondents agree online teaching helps them think innovatively and creatively.

On average the mean for this statement is 3.49.

In the eighth statement, the most answer is in agree which has 30 respondents with a presentation of 58.8%. Furthermore, the answer strongly agree has 3 respondents (5.9%), and neutral has 7 respondents (13.7%). The last one is the answer for disagreeing and strongly disagree which have 11 respondents (21.6%). On average the mean for this statement is 3.39. Therefore, from the result, it may be concluded that the teachers agree online teaching is a good opportunity for them to connect, exchange and learn from teachers both inside and outside the school.

In the ninth statement, the answer is in strong disagree (SD) which has 2 respondents with a presentation of 3.9%, for the answer of disagree (D) has a percentage of 9.8%. Furthermore, the answer of neutral (N) has 5 respondents with a presentation of 9.8%, the answer for agreeing (A) has 34 respondents with

a presentation of 66.6%, and strongly disagree (SA) has a presentation of 9.8%.

On average the mean for this statement is 3.62. Therefore, from the result, it may be concluded that the respondents agree online teaching is easy for them to convey vividly illustrated images and videos to learners easily.

In the tenth statement, the answer is in agree (A) which has 11 respondents with a presentation of 21.6%. Furthermore, only one teacher answered strongly agree (A). On average the mean for this statement is 2.56. From the result, it can be concluded that the most respondents don’t agree with this statement.

In conclusion, it was discovered that most teachers had favorable perceptions of the media as a measure of English learning activities conducted online. They still need to be prepared with information and understanding of how to use online learning resources so that their ICT teaching experience grows (Information and Communication Technology).
