Based on the findings, there are some recommendations for further research to follow up. Due to the fact that this study investigated teachers’ and students’
perceptions of the use of peer feedback, exploration of peer feedback techniques students prefer is important to continue the findings of this study. Moreover, because the current study explored perceptions of teachers and students in terms of benefits that were divided into four categories, it is significant that there is a need for further detailed research on each category to gain a better and deeper understanding on how beneficial peer feedback will be. Last but not least, as presented above, one of the shortcomings of this study was the small size of
96
populations of both teachers and students. Therefore, the researcher highly recommend that the coming research related to this topic should be conducted in larger population so that the whole picture of EFL teaching and learning writing would be much more apparent.
